109. A Long Weekend…
I needed a long weekend to recharge the batteries of my imagination.
I have completed the pre-collection of ROBERTO CAVALLI and JUST CAVALLI for summer 2013.
I am very pleased, more than at other times. I have earned a short vacation for myself, a little adventure at sea with my Bat-Zodiac!
I spent one night in Stintino, a delicious and authentic fishing port, located in the western part of Sardinia. After a sunny day at Piana island I decide to spend another night in Bonifacio, I could live there for the rest of my life!
Last night I spent at anchor in a beautiful cove off the island of La Maddalena. An eventful night… the wind turns again… and again… and again… three times, sirocco… mistral… then sirocco again. The wind is blowing at a good twenty knots… I cannot sleep in peace!
I set the alarm to ring every hour so that I can check if the anchor is doing its duty and is holding fast. With a wind like this there is a risk that the anchor can begin to plow and it is not difficult to find yourself on the rocks! I am a seaman. I have to anticipate and prevent such a risk… or else… “Bye Holidays”!
I awake… the wind is growing stronger… I decide to take refuge in Porto Cervo. It is always fascinating to get to this jewel of the Emerald Coast! This is just the beginning of July but I did not expect to find the port so empty. It is not easy to moor… the wind is slamming me from all sides.
A refreshing shower and I go to greet the young ladies who work in my Boutique. Pessimism mixed with boredom… is the expression in the eyes of each of them.
The crisis, so much publicized, keeps away the tourists who were planning holidays on the Emerald Coast!
All this is self-vindicating and makes us sink deeper into a crisis! There are better ways. Does a cat try to bite its tail?
The Emerald Coast is the holiday destination of the rich, or those who are simply hoping to see some Star or the rich and famous!
This is the world we live in. Television is a wonderful invention but often it is not used in the right way, as when it makes the realization of young dreams seem impossible…

Come sempre ci posti delle foto che sono molto, molto belle….
La crisi….la crisi….tutta questa “crisi”….io credo che sia una falsità! Una balla tremenda! Creata ad arte per “sopprimere” la gente e tenerla così più “controllata”.
E proprio come scrivi tu :
“Questo è il mondo in cui viviamo. La televisione è una meravigliosa invenzione ma spesso non è utilizzata nella giusta maniera!”
E’ Vero!!! I media….che spesso pubblicizzano SOLO cose negative, che danno risalto a messaggi di Caos e di pericolo (spesso falsi), e che vogliono generare un clima di terrore…..non sono utilizzati nella giusta maniera!
I media dovrebbero essere obiettivi, e non pilotati da chi ha interesse a tenere le persone nella paura per meglio “pascolarle”…..
Via…anche oggi mi sono sfogato un pò…scusami!

Grande Roberto, ti ho visto con il tuo batgommone davanti alla spiaggia della pelosa, stavo rientrando dal mio cantiere di restauro della torre della pelosa. Il batgommone e’ davvero bello e spero un giorno di averne uno anche io così. Stintino e’ un bellissimo posto con un mare bello da morire. Ti saluto a presto ….un tuo grande fan.

STINTINO!!! avevo dimenticato il nome…. per puro caso ho visto dei fuochi d’artificio píu belli della mia vita lí… era luglio 2009… erano cosi tanti, diversi tra di loro, per almeno una mezzora… accompagnati dalla musica bellissima che usciva dai altoparlanti… tutto rispecchiato nel mare… ero rimasta cosi colpita dalla bellezza di quella serata che avevo perso la borsa della reflex:))) È stato cosi bello… proprio come quando ero piccola:))))
Non sapevo avesse un blog!!! Mi piace la cosa! Avvicina ad un gran stilista noi blogger!!! Mi fa piacere!
