179. Gisele was not yet the big supermodel she now is…
Gisele Bündchen was not the big top model she now is, yet, she was a rising star when she came for the first time to my casting… she was beautiful, gorgeous, but I considered her a little stiff… I was very wrong!
I don’t think Gisele has ever forgiven me! Perhaps, just recently, she has. She was the model chosen for some of my recent advertising campaigns… extraordinary ones!
It is not easy to judge and choose a model. You are very influenced by the collection you are presenting…
It is easier to choose a model for the photographic campaign. I like to give my preferences to the top model who is best able to interpret my style.
The model is like an actress. She has to play the role, her face, her body must be part of what she wears…
Gisele… Naomi… Heidi… Kate Moss, are the great actresses of fashion!

Certo….a vedere tutto questo “ben di Dio”….a volte non deve essere facile rimanere “tranquilli” (non credo a me riuscirebbe….!!)

Mr. Cavalli these shots are exquisite, but perhaps it is the clothes themselves that inspire the model to become one with them…as the 9 year old sitting next to me just said, “Wow, what beautiful dresses”… from the mouths of babes…our favourites, Claudia and Naomi.

adoro il viso di Mariacarla Boscono ma non direi di avere una modella preferita… non faccio tanta attenzione alla modella, guardo ogni foto come un dipinto, tutto deve essere in armonia, la modella non deve saltare in occhio troppo, “il suo volto, il suo corpo devono essere parte di ciò che indossa” – aggiungerei che deve diventare anche parte del posto in cui viene fotografata… quindi direi che anziche avere una modella preferita ho delle “immagine preferite”… ma devo amettere che Kate Moss é piu spesso delle altre protagonista nelle mie immagine preferite:))) dove e quando é stata fotografata sul albero secco in quel vestito rosso? spring summer 2006? sembrava una rosa… un immaggine mitica!!!
