Roberto Cavalli181. I Began my Life as a Designer on Tiptoes…

I began my life as a designer on tiptoes. I feared everything that  could expose me…  an excessive shyness… uncertainty.

I approached interviews with an incredible fear… the first few seconds my voice was hoarse, it seemed as though my voice didn’t want to come out… after two minutes, a little better… then after, I wanted the interview to never end!

Often, to break the ice, my first words were “I’M VERY THRILLED… I’M ACCUSTOMED TO TALKING THROUGH MY CLOTHES…” After this beginning, everything flowed more easily.

I’ve changed so much, perhaps too much. Why too much? Because fear means emotion.  I have gained great confidence so that today I feel less emotionally involved in the interview process.  I preferred myself at the beginning, with the fear of the unknown!

I exaggerate about everything… as my uncertainty was excessive in the past, now my confidence is in excess!

I like to amuse and to show, to be creative and to improvise…

Before an appearance on a TV Show or before an important interview I should prepare the answers to the previously established questions… but that never happens!

I always want to be spontaneous and an eventual small mistake can sometimes look nice!

Un grande abbraccio…

I LOVE YOU
Roberto Cavalli

Mr. Cavalli, we all (i do) appreciate your spontaneity. It admires me, since I never accept interviews without receiving the questions previously, though I am galaxies apart from you, of course! Journalists are very considerate with me; they are always very happy to send me all the questions beforehand..

I have enjoyed your previous posts, as usual, and thought that Italian model who felt in front of you the first time she met you had something very special about herself. Her face is full of mystery.

By the way, it feels very nice to see the column on the right back, Mr. Webmaster! Thank you!

I meant to say we are galaxies apart because you are a celebrity and I am a private (semi private) person. And I meant to say the mysterious looking Italian model I just mentioned, fell in front of you the first time she met you. I write too fast from an iPhone, and it has some diadvantages.

    Grande Cavalli !!
Sei troppo forte, e noi ti si vuole bene così come sei!!
E poi le interviste che fai, quelle a Radio DJ, quelle in inglese… sono troppo Forti!!

    ….Ma oggi è anche “IL GIORNO”…. Juventus – Fiorentina, ore 18 a Torino….

    Francesco

Mr. Cavalli, I just looked at your right hand, and rhave been impressed by your life line (the one next to your thumb): it is very long and deep. A very brilliant mezzo soprano I knew (she passed aeay recently),who was an expert on quiromancy and kabbalah, always said that people who have very long and deep life lines live a very long life. And when they have a very deep and long parallel line next to their life line it means that they live a very intense life. In your case it is obvious you live a terribly intense life. If I remember well, she used to say the lines of your left hand show your possibilities when you are born, and the lines of your right hand, what you really do with your life. She read the hands of many artists and intellectuals I know, and she relly discovered and predicted quite a few interesting things to them. A specialist in neurosciences I know has told me Medicine recognizes that finger prints say many things about people. Please, don’t jump to the conclusion that I am an expert on quiromancy. It just happens that I am a very curious person and am acquainted with different types of fascinating people. Have a very pleasant Sunday!
