200. Duecento, Two hundred!

Roberto Cavalli200. Duecento, Two hundred!

I must confess that having reached the two hundredth post has a certain effect… this recurring appointment with you has become a pleasant habit that I can not give up… an appointment between old friends…

It is a direct contact that goes beyond the boundaries of social networks. Here I have a space where I can convey my feelings and my emotions without limits… more than 140 characters… a diary that allows me to feel closer and at the same time allows you to come into my world!

Last night I spent a pleasant evening at the Cavalli Club in Dubai where I tasted an excellent sea bass prepared in a salt crust. The chefs here prepare one of my favorite dishes – spaghetti “al dente” with fresh tomato and a sprinkling of Parmesan cheese. It is just the way I like to prepare this dish for myself when I am at home – simple but tasty…

I love coming to Dubai. Here I feel at home. I remember when we designed the Cavalli Club. It was a long and laborious project and I am absolutely delighted with the result… even so, every time I return here I still see small changes that can be made… minor adjustments…

A quiet evening in company of good friends and beautiful women. I must say here the women have a special way of wearing my fashions. I love to observe the contrasts of colors and the personalities that lie behind the way they dress…

A bit of peace before facing the clamor of La Croisette, Cannes.
This year will be an important event. I will tell you everything first hand…

In the meantime, I send you un grande bacino…

I LOVE YOU
Roberto Cavalli

NICE to see you back, Mr. Cavalli! I hope your shoulder is in perfect condition. A GREAT atmosphere at the Cavalli Club of Dubai. My favorite spaghetti dish is very similar to yours, except that my homemade fresh tomato sauce includes grinded ground beef. The result is a delicious and velvety sauce. By the way, I tried your Just Cavalli women’s cologne (the one advertised by Georgia May Jagger) and I LOVED it! There is something really special about the scent!. Have a nice weekend

    Inspiering post Mr.Cavalli!

Maybe I see you in Cannes? I’m attending the ASVOFF to night!

I also had spagetti last night, so simple, so tasty! I made what I call “Pepper Spagetti”:

Boil the spagetti in a large saucepan with 20g salt. Heat up a dry fryingpan and toast freshly grounded pepper in it. Toast it until you smell the wonderful pepper odeur then add 4 large spoons of butter and four spoons of the spagetti water in the pan. Then the spagetti! Turn it around in the pan and voila! Top with parmasan!

    Have a nice one!

Hi, Roberto! I couldn’t get rid of a thought that I’ve got possesd with the idea to start navigating the web with your blog. No wonder, it forces me to think and act more positive and more optimistic. It’s amazing, I like watching people as well and once it helped me to write some interesting stories. For my money we could only see the facades of men and women, pretending that we make friends with them. And the rest is the freak of our imagination. Those are normal things. But writing down the thoughts that excite or trouble us is absolutly different. And your willingness to share your thoughts with your fans breaks all possible boarders between people. Though everything has begun with a wondreful dress for a wonderful stranger you have created a whole bit ago on the spur of a moment… I wish you a bunch of happy inspiration to cope with everything you are doing at the moment. With love from Ukraine. Lucy.
