406. We are all Citizens of the World…

Roberto Cavalli - Cavalli Island406. We are all Citizens of the World…

I will never get tired of repeating how important it is to travel and explore our wonderful world…

Some of you wrote to me that it is expensive to travel and not everyone can afford it… but I do not agree, you can travel and travel the world with very little money…

Discover the different cultures… traditions… the different religions… as well as getting to know the people we meet on our way… each one has his own story to tell and each story is part of the wealth that each of us possesses, a kind of treasure chest…

Every experience of life has its own importance in our long journey… every person who crosses our path has an impact on our lives, an impact that leaves a lasting impression on us…

I have learned a lot from the people I met on my way, professionally and personally…

I met kings and queens, presidents, the most famous and the celebrities from the entertainment and other worlds. I also met people like you and me and we shared with one another our stories and unforgettable moments…

I have lived in Florence, Milan, Paris, London, New York…

I have visited the most remote places of this amazing planet and been fascinated and inspired by the beauty that Mother Nature has given us. Too often we take it for granted… every flower, every tree, every blade of grass, every stone is a work of art…

My latest discovery is Sweden… more specifically an island in the crowded Swedish archipelago of Lake Malaren, or Lake Malar, one of the largest lakes in Europe… its original name is Stora Rullingen but I think of it now as Cavalli Island.

Welcome then to Cavalli Island, a Viking fortress dating back to the eleventh century… an oasis of peace… this is my personal paradise!

In my next post I will guide you to the discovery of Cavalli Island…

JAG ÄLSKAR DIG

I LOVE YOU
