172. Will You Live Without Me?

I entered the Christmas spirit! I spend several hours wandering among the shops in Florence. I do not have a clear idea of what to put under the tree for my children and friends… is not easy!

I have some meetings, nothing interesting to bring to your desire to know about my days…

After Christmas, I decided to spend a little holiday until the fifth of January with three of my children and grandchildren. Nothing special to tell you, but very special to me!

So, I think I will leave you alone until 2013…

I will miss you a lot… I will have a great desire to speak to you and to tell you about my days. Your presence in my life has become addictive. I shall be waiting for your comments, hoping that there will be new friends every day.

172. Potrete Vivere Senza di Me?

Sono entrato nell’atmosfera natalizia! Trascorro diverse ore vagando fra le vetrine dei negozi di Firenze. Non ho le idee chiare su cosa far trovare sotto l’albero ai miei figli e amici… non è facile!

Ho qualche meeting, niente d’interessante da sottoporre alla vostra voglia di conoscere le mie giornate…

Dopo Natale, ho deciso di trascorrere un po’ di vacanze fino al 5 gennaio con tre dei miei figli e nipotini. Niente di speciale da raccontarvi, ma molto speciale per me!

Quindi, penso che vi lascerò soli fino al 2013…

Sentirò tantissimo la vostra mancanza. Avrò tanta voglia di parlarvi e raccontarvi. La vostra presenza nella mia vita è diventata una droga. Aspetto i vostri commenti e spero che ogni giorno ci saranno nuovi amici.

Nel frattempo dirò al mio amico Giorgio Verzoletto, la persona speciale e brava che cura la parte tecnica del mio BLOG, di farvi divertire con qualche foto di bellissime modelle vestite Cavalli e qualche brava attrice che in questi giorni di grandi feste indossa i miei abiti!

Sarà solo la mia rauca voce a non farsi sentire. La mia presenza e fantasia non vi lasceranno soli!

Snow… snow… snow… When I was a boy I liked snow. It made me happy, today not so much!

From my window everything is white and the flakes fall thick, I think tonight it will already be deep. This is not usual for Florence, and everything becomes more complicated. To get to my house, situated on a small hill overlooking Florence, I have to take an uphill winding road.
It will not be easy to go out and come back home. If it snows longer, I shall have to stay stranded in the house and wait until the weather improves!
Even Lupo is a little shocked. The snow is a novelty for him and when we do go out he is not accustomed to sinking into the snow and does not have the courage to run.

I was thinking what I remember about snow, so as to be able to tell you of some moments in my life – but nothing special. I am ashamed to say it, but I do not know how to ski and I hate the cold, maybe it’s an excuse.
When I was a boy, skiing was a sport or pastime of the wealthy. The economic conditions of my family were not such that we could afford to ski!

Sometimes, I like to fly my helicopter over the peaks of Abetone, altitude about 5000 feet, among the snow-capped peaks. I land next to a refuge where they know me well and welcome me.
My kids and friends go skiing until dusk. I wait for them in the refuge in the heat of the fireplace. They will often cook some tortellini they have hand made especially for me!
We haven’t been there for about two years now. I’ll have to re-establish this again – very special and great fun!

15. Neve… Neve… Neve…

Neve… neve… neve… Quando ero ragazzo mi piaceva e mi rendeva felice, oggi, un po’ meno!

Firenze sotto la neve

Dalla mia finestra è tutto bianco e i fiocchi scendono fitti, credo che questa sera sarà già alta. E’ un fatto anomalo per Firenze, tutto diventa più complicato. Per arrivare a casa mia, che domina da una piccola colina la citta di Firenze, devo fare una salita a zig zag e non sarà facile uscire e rientrare.
Se continua a nevicare con questo ritmo dovrò restare chiuso in casa e aspettare che il tempo migliori!
Anche Lupo è un po’ scioccato, per lui è una novità, quando usciamo, non ha il coraggio di correre… non è abituato a sprofondare nella neve!

Stavo pensando cosa mi ricorda la neve per potervi raccontare qualche momento della mia vita. Direi niente di particolare, mi vergogno a dirlo ma non so’ sciare e odio il freddo, forse è una scusa…
Quando ero un ragazzo sciare era un passatempo o sport da benestanti. Le condizioni economiche della mia famiglia non erano tali da potermi permettere la settimana bianca!

Talvolta, mi diverto a pilotare il mio elicottero sulle cime dell’Abetone a circa 5000 piedi di altezza quando le cime sono innevate. Atterro vicino a un rifugio, dove oramai mi conoscono e mi attendono con ansia.
I miei ragazzi e amici vanno a sciare fino a sera mentre io li aspetto nel rifugio al caldo del caminetto. Spesso mi cucinano dei tortelloni fatti a mano, apposta per me!
Sono circa due anni che non ci andiamo, dovrò rirendere quest’abitudine, così speciale e divertente!

Finalmente sono riuscito a creare un mio Blog!
Tutto mio per sentirmi accanto a voi, per parlare con voi, per ascoltarvi e consigliarvi, farvi partecipi dei miei successi e talvolta dei miei problemi.

Credete di conoscermi? Credete di sapere tutto di me?
Vi dimostrero che forse sono come mi sognate, ma anche io, come tutti gli umani ho le mie debolezze, i miei sogni da avverare.

Parleremo di moda, naturalmente, poiché la moda è una filosofia di vita che ci appartiene e che ci allontana dai piccoli problemi di ogni giorno.
