Kyle has been my hero since Ramsey street …
I am very sorry to see you transmit a huge sadness, Mr. Cavalli. I hope to see your lively self again soon. Delicious menu!!!
huge sadness??? no no no no, I refuse thinking this:)))) we cannot have only smiling pictures all the time, it doesn’t seem authentic:))
Sounds like a fabulous evening I wish I was there!
What a menu! Hope you continue to have a great time

Sadness is something that cannot be hidden: it can be seen on people’s eye expression, the true mirror of the soul. Mr. Cavalli is as human as we all are, and more expressive than most of us, so it is very difficult for him to hide his emotions. I am really sorry to tell you that you contradict yourself, Yana : – ). You refuse to accept Mr. Cavalli transmits a huge sadness and then you say people cannot smile all the time because “it doesn’t seem authentic”. I only expressed what his pictures transmit to me, which is -of course- subjective. But whoever knows Mr. Cavalli -and I happen to have had the opportunity to talk to him in a very relaxed afternoon on the colline fiorentine- can see he looks very sad. I don’t see anything wrong about saying he looks sad. I believe Mr. Cavalli wants authentic feedback from his readers. I am less interested in the bubbles around him than I am in the incredible human being who struggled from Le Cascine to le colline di Firenze.
la modella con alessandra ambrosio è ana beatriz barros non irina!
I don’t think Mr. Cavalli is sad. He might be tired. Lots of things are happening this days, gala dinner, parties, travel.
How can he be sad? Professional successful, great family, life is good!
Mr. Cavalli we love you! Keep posting, please, we love to read you!
AudreyXOXO
Emotions are transitory, so I don’t understand the fuss about my comment on Mr. Cavalli’s apparent emotional state. But anyway, being successful and having a great family is sometimes not enough. People get used to what they have, and have other needs. Mr. Cavalli is obviously a very gifted and hard working person, who has received from life what he has given it. I have said it over and over on my comments.
So, be successful and have a wonderful family is not the way to be happy? can you elaborate on this? I am a normal person, meddle class, I work every day to pay my bills and I am grateful to God, every day, for what I have. I don’t get “used” on what I have.
BTW, Roberto I love your design.

Dear Roberto! I think your last opulent message to the world literaly obliges me corresponding to its refind style. People who like people are the lukiest people in the world! These wonderful lines from Ella Fitzgerald are more than emphatic to express my attitude to the happening and to your personality especially. Jokes, a great deal of laughter, a way of talking which is typically Cavalli – all these might be a sound wave heard somewhere near-by. I am dazzled one more time with your wonderful ideas which have made your dreams come true. But I think as well there is a thing I might begrudge to – it”s a perfect freedom to do what you want and like doing. Following my own life”s experience I would add that all sorts of freedom are deeply rooted on hard work. Have a good luck, pluck and no end of gusto! With love from Ukraine, Lucy.
Grande Cavalli……
Che dire… numero uno!! Non aggiungerei altro… :)
Un Abbraccio.

what I meant was “I really really hope this is not huge sadness but something less worrying” and it’s totally normal to have some “not smiling” pictures, there is no reason to believe that something very sad happened. BUT… even if it did… personally I wouldn’t want people to discuss my problems in public, so I think we shouldn’t either. this is just my personal opinion, please don’t feel critisized…
I could never talk about Roberto Cavalli’s problems because we are not friends; so I have no chance to know what his personal life is all about. I only express my impressions, which are obviously subjective. My comments are always sincerely enthusiastic about Roberto Cavalli’s artistic talent and the human being behind the artist. I have been surrounded by artists all my life (and I really mean surrounded: including eleven Nobel Prize winners), a priviledged experience that allows me to see creators as very similar to the rest of us in very many important things. It is astonishing you tell me not to feel criticized when you put me on the spot with a direct criticism. But I have no hard feelings about your criticism: I feel as free as you feel about my personal comments. Being opinionated has very many good sides.
