287. Katy Perry, Cannes and the New Men’s Collection…

I created two exclusive looks for the talented Katy…

First Look – ‘Kaleidoscope Brodé’ dress entirely embroidered in prism crystals, sequins and iridescent micro baguettes. A tulle plastron highlights the dress with patchwork motifs made in leather for a holographic mirror effect, which creates three-dimensional reflections.

Second Look – A ‘Crocodile Scarab’ silhouette is featured on the pleated skirt and the micro top. The multi-reflection effect and the motifs are created thanks to mirrored multicoloured leather with a crocodile graphic appliqué on a multilayer light mousseline silk lamé and alternated with a thin layer of silver powder. The mini ‘Perfecto’ biker jacket is created in printed leather with a holographic reptile motif. This sort of work is fascinating and challenges the very considerable talents of my atelier staff…

Katy Perry ‘s world tour started May 7 from Dublin and is already a success…

This is the most important event for the global film industry and has been repeated every year since 1946… one of the most glamorous events of the lovely Cote d’Azur…

I’ll be in Cannes over the next few days and will keep you up-to-date with all the glamorous events, as always…

These days I’m very busy with the new Men’s Collection that I will present in Milan at the end of June. This new collection is fantastic! I don’t want to talk about it before the show… but I’m really thrilled! I would like to share with you the details and show you some pictures… in future posts…

287. Katy Perry, Cannes e la Nuova Collezione Uomo…

Avete visto gli abiti che ho disegnato per il Prismatic World Tour di Katy Perry?

Ho creato due “look” esclusivi per la bravissima Katy…

Primo Look – Abito ‘Kaleidoscopio Brodé’ interamente ricamato con cristalli prisma, paillettes e micro baguettes multi iridescenti. L’abito è sottolineato da un plastron di tulle con motivi patchwork di pelle ad effetto specchio olografico che creano riflessi tridimensionali. Il movimento è enfatizzato da un gioco di frange.

Secondo Look – Silhouette ‘Scarabeo Cocco’ per la gonna a susseguirsi di pieghe ed il piccolo top. L’effetto multi riflessi e i motivi sono realizzati con pelle specchio multicolor con grafica cocco applicati su un multistrato di leggerissima mussoline di seta lamé alternato ad un velo di polvere d’argento. Mini chiodo ‘Perfecto’ realizzato in pelle stampata con motivo rettile olografico. Questo tipo di lavorazione è affascinante ed è una sfida al talento delle abili sarte del mio atelier…
