Our Miami vacation is already over… one week that literally flew away…
A week passed pleasantly with children and grandchildren… these are the moments when I would like to have the power to stop the flow of time… and perhaps, in a sense, we possess this power through our memory. Memory allows us to enshrine those moments – so special – which are part of our lives…
If you’ve read my book you already know the moments I have enshrined in my memory… special moments… some hard times… other times that are almost magical…
Sometimes I like to dwell and squint my eyes to see again, to re-live those moments… as in a movie where I am the protagonist, the viewer and, why not, the director…
Life flows in front of me… at times faster at times slower… my childhood… my first love… the first successes… my children… my dear friends… the joys of becoming a grandfather…
Goodbye Miami… I will be back soon, very soon…
During the past seven days we had dinner several times at the Cavalli Club where the talented chef delighted us with those signature dishes that have made the restaurant famous. The lounge offers the perfect atmosphere, good music and great people for special evenings always in fascinating company…
The presentation of wines produced in the Tenuta Degli Dei of Panzano in Chianti at the Cavalli Club Miami was a great success… an opportunity to meet lots of old friends and make new friends… and lots of photos with the many admirers of my fashion…

La nostra vacanza a Miami è già terminata… una settimana che è letteralmente volata via…
Una settimana piacevolmente trascorsa con figli e nipoti… questi sono i momenti in cui vorrei possedere il potere di fermare lo scorrere del tempo… e forse, in un certo senso, possediamo questo potere attraverso la nostra memoria. La memoria ci permette di custodire gelosamente quei momenti così speciali che fanno parte della nostra vita…
Se avete letto il mio libro conoscete già i momenti che custodisco nella mia memoria… momenti speciali… momenti difficili… momenti a volte quasi magici…
A volte mi piace soffermarmi e socchiudere gli occhi per rivedere quei momenti… riviverli come in un film in cui sono protagonista, spettatore e, perché no, anche regista…
E la vita che scorre davanti a me… a momenti veloce a momenti più lentamente… l’infanzia… i primi amori… i primi successi… i miei figli… gli amici più cari… la gioia di diventare nonno…
Arrivederci Miami… ci rivedremo presto…
Durante questi sette giorni abbiamo cenato diverse sere al Cavalli Club dove il bravissimo chef ci ha deliziato con quei piatti esclusivi che hanno reso famoso il ristorante. Il lounge offre un’atmosfera perfetta, buona musica e tanta bella gente per serate sempre speciali in piacevole compagnia…
La presentazione al Cavalli Club Miami dei vini prodotti nella Tenuta Degli Dei di Panzano in Chianti è stata un successo… un’occasione per incontrare tanti amici… e tante foto con i tanti estimatori della mia moda…

I decided to rent a villa so we could stay all together and share the joy of the grandchildren as they searched for the Easter eggs that we had hidden everywhere…
My grandchildren love adventures… to discover these places is a great adventure for them…
Miami is the ideal destination at this time of the year… 30 degrees Celsius… sunny… a sky with infinite shades of blue… a taste of summer!
We cooked a T-bone steak “alla Fiorentina” that rivalled the so tasty Chianina home grown steak!

Ho fatto una sorpresa ai miei nipotini e siamo venuti a Miami per passare una Pasqua “fuoriporta”. Una settimana in completo relax con i miei tre figli e sette nipoti…
Ho deciso di affittare una villa per stare tutti insieme e condividere la gioia dei più piccoli alla ricerca delle uova di Pasqua che abbiamo nascoste dappertutto…
I miei nipotini amano le avventure… scoprire questi luoghi per loro è una grande avventura…
