I’m sitting at the Cafe Giacosa with @luposandra and @rclupo…

I am home from Milan. I am very delighted. My fashion shows were a great success… when I say a success I mean that I have been able to stir emotions… to make you dream… to allow every woman to play with her own personality, with her own femininity…

With my words I would like to make you understand how much I love to create fantastic dresses. Through my creations I can set my imagination free along with all my creativity… My beautiful Florence has always inspired me throughout my life: its arts were created by so many wonderful artists over the centuries…

ART… FASHION… FANTASY… CREATIVITY… give me the energy and the Joie de Vivre that I convey to my creations.

To all those young people who ask my advice, to those who would know the secret of my success I would say that it is important to strongly believe in yourself, to develop great self-esteem… it will help you a lot in life and allow you to overcome any difficulties.

If you want to enter the world of fashion you have to create with your heart… your creations have to be different, never monotonous or similar to those of others… the monotony of the minimalists is dictated solely by business objectives, monotony may take you to the stock market but it will never give you that satisfaction that will complete you as an artist.

I remember the Lectio Magistralis I gave to a packed house of students at the prestigious Oxford Union, their eyes were on me… I felt their esteem… they were anxious to draw from my words the advice with which to face their future.

Sono seduto al Caffè Giacosa-Cavalli con @luposandra and @rclupo…

Sono rientrato questa mattina da Milano. Sono molto soddisfatto, la mie sfilate sono state un grande successo… è quando dico successo vuol dire che sono stato in grado di dare emozioni… di far sognare… di permettere ad ogni donna di giocare con la propria personalità, con la propria femminilità…

Con queste mie parole vorrei farvi capire quanto amo creare abiti fantastici. Attraverso le mie creazioni riesco a esternare tutta la mia fantasia, tutta la mia creatività… La mia bella Firenze mi ha sempre ispirato attraverso tutta la mia vita: città d’arte arte creata da così tanti meravigliosi artisti nei corso dei secoli…

ARTE… MODA… FANTASIA… CREATIVITÀ… riescono a darmi quell’energia e quella voglia di vivere che trasferisco nelle mie creazioni.

A tutti quei giovani che mi chiedono consigli, a quanti vorrebbero conoscere il segreto del mio successo vorrei dire che è importante credere fortemente in voi stessi, avere una grande autostima… vi aiuterà moltissimo nella vita e vi permetterà di superare qualsiasi difficoltà.

Se desiderate entrare nel mondo della moda dovrete creare con il cuore… le vostre creazioni dovranno essere diverse, mai monotone o simili a quelle di altri… la monotonia dei minimalisti è dettata unicamente da obbiettivi commerciali, vi potrà portare alla quotazione in borsa ma non vi permetterà mai di ottenere quelle soddisfazioni che vi completerà come artista.

Mi ricordo la Lectio Magistralis che ho tenuto davanti ad una folta platea di studenti presso la prestigiosa Oxford Union, i loro occhi erano puntati su di me… percepivo la loro stima… erano ansiosi di attingere dalle mie parole quei consigli con cui affrontare il futuro.

Vi amo e spero di essere ricambiato…
