I know, I agree with you… a handwritten note, in beautiful calligraphy as once taught in school would be better… but times have changed… Today Tempus Fugit, everything just flies… it all happens in a moment… The Internet has profoundly changed the way we interact, we play, we learn, we stay informed. The important thing is to know how to adapt quickly to the changes, how to be able to follow evolution, as we learn from nature that is continually evolving, adapting to a changing dynamic…

I wish to respond to all the kind birthday wishes that I received electronically… text messages, emails, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram… and reply by the same means adapting myself to the changing times.

I would like to answer each message individually but that is not possible given my schedule… you are really so many… but I was very pleased to read your words of love and feel you so close to me… Thank You, Thank You from the bottom of my heart!

Excess is my success… this has always been my motto and this year my birthday was celebrated with a surprise party that I did not expect… it was an excess of affection, love, kind hearts and red roses…

A birthday surrounded by my big family… children, grandchildren, relatives and friends… all around me! For one day I felt myself to be someone truly blessed!

Birthdays remind us of the date of our birth, but we also take account of the years that have passed and we make plans for the future. Those who have already read my book know that my life has been a fantastic adventure… a life full of surprises where I learned that love is the center of our lives around which everything revolves… but what fascinates me the most is the future… a future full of potential, full of projects… and you know me well enough to know that I cannot sit still…!

Lo so, sono d’accordo con voi… un biglietto scritto a mano, in bella calligrafia come si insegnava una volta nelle scuole avrebbe fatto il suo effetto… ma i tempi sono cambiati… Tempus Fugit, oggi tutto scorre così veloce… tutto avviene in un attimo… Internet ha profondamente cambiato il nostro modo di interagire, di imparare, di tenersi informati. L’importante è adeguarsi ai cambiamenti, riuscire a seguire l’evoluzione, come ci insegna la natura che evolve adattandosi all’ambiente che la circonda…

Voglio quindi rispondere a tutti i messaggi di auguri che ho ricevuto per via elettronica… messaggini, emails, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram… attraverso il mio Blog, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter e adeguarmi così ai tempi che cambiano.

Vorrei rispondere ad ogni singolo messaggio ma i miei impegni non me lo consentono siete veramente tanti… tantissimi… mi ha fatto molto piacere leggere le vostre parole di affetto e sentirvi così vicini… Grazie, grazie dal profondo del mio cuore!

L’eccesso è il mio successo… questo è da sempre il mio motto e quest’anno ho festeggiato il mio compleanno con una festa a sorpresa che non mi aspettavo… è stato un eccesso di affetto, di amore, di cuoricini e rose rosse…

Un compleanno circondato dalla mia grande famiglia… figli, nipoti, parenti e amici… tutti intorno a me! Per un giorno mi sono sentito una persona importante!

Il giorno del compleanno ci ricorda la data della nostra nascita, ma non solo, ad ogni compleanno ci si ritrova immancabilmente a fare il resoconto degli anni che sono trascorsi e si fanno progetti per il futuro. Per coloro che hanno già letto il mio libro sanno che la mia vita è stata una fantastica avventura… una vita piena di sorprese dove ho imparato che l’amore è il centro della nostra vita intorno a cui tutto ruota… ma quello che mi affascina di più è il futuro… un futuro pieno di progetti… ormai mi conoscete e sapete che non riesco a stare fermo…!

If you have never visited Las Vegas you cannot possibly imagine the atmosphere here.

Las Vegas is in some ways almost indescribable… in that it is unlike anywhere else… anything can happen here… everything is permitted… excesses are the norm…!

In Las Vegas you can experience the thrill of diving into a tank and swimming with the sharks or driving the fastest and most expensive cars on a track without speed limits…

Casinos are one of the main attractions in Las Vegas. Here there are no limits on bets and it is not unusual to witness wins and losses with six zero’s…

Las Vegas is also home to many top level shows with world class artists. Performances are repeated in a continuous cycle for the entertainment of millions of visitors who choose Las Vegas for their holidays.

It is said that New York is the city that never sleeps, but here in Las Vegas days last 24 hours… you can decide to go to the grocery store at two in the morning and then head to the gym. If you then feel a little peckish you can choose one of the many gourmet restaurants that are always open and taste their specialties which are original dishes from all over the world!

One place that I can really recommend is Fizz. Fizz is an interesting Champagne Lounge Bar concept. Located inside Caesars Palace, Fizz will captivate you with an exclusive selection of Champagne, cocktails and the exclusive Roberto Cavalli Vodka!

My short stay in this amazing city is over and it is already time to pack my suitcase.

Thanks Las Vegas and thanks to all the friends with whom I enjoyed so many delightful moments. In my wanderings around the world I have learned that Home is where your friends are…

Se non siete mai stati a Las Vegas non potete immaginare l’atmosfera che si respira qui.

Las Vegas è per certi versi quasi indescrivibile… unica nel suo genere… qui tutto può accadere… qui tutto è permesso… qui gli eccessi sono la norma!

A Las Vegas potrete vivere l’emozione di immergervi in una vasca e nuotare con gli squali… guidare le più veloci auto in pista senza limiti di velocità…

I casinò sono una delle principali attrazioni di Las Vegas. Qui non esistono limiti alle puntate e non è raro assistere a vincite e perdite con sei zeri…

Las Vegas è inoltre la sede di tantissimi spettacoli di alto livello con i più bravi artisti di fama mondiale che vengono ripetuti a ciclo continuo per l’intrattenimento di milioni di visitatori che hanno deciso di scegliere Las Vegas per le proprie vacanze.

Si dice che New York è la città che non dorme, ma a Las Vegas le giornate durano 24 ore… potete decidere di andare a fare la spesa alle due del mattino e poi fare un salto in palestra… e se avete un leggero languorino scegliere uno dei tantissimi ristoranti sempre aperti e degustare le prelibatezze di piatti originali provenienti da ogni parte del mondo!

Un locale che vi consiglio di visitare, uno dei miei favoriti a Las Vegas è Fizz, un interessante concetto di Champagne Lounge Bar. Situato all’interno del Caesars Palaca, Fizz vi conquisterà con un’esclusiva selezione di Champagne, cocktails e l’esclusiva Vodka Roberto Cavalli!

La mia breve permanenza in questa incredibile città è terminata ed è già tempo di fare le valige.

Grazie Las Vegas e grazie a tutti gli amici con cui ho avuto il piacere di trascorrere dei piacevolissimi momenti. Nel mio girovagare in giro per il mondo ho imparato che Casa è dove sono i tuoi amici…

I left Cavalli Island for a quick trip to Florence and then took a flight to Las Vegas!

Strolling along the streets of Florence is like traveling in time… if you half close your eyes you can experience that medieval magic the sounds and smells of the Renaissance… then when you open them again you realize that here time has never passed…

Las Vegas is the city of fun, a city of toys for adults… Las Vegas is the city of excess, everything is double, triple and even more. It attracts wit, quick-wittedness and focus… a place where people understand the odds! I like its lights, its colours, the fact that here nobody watches the clock… it is always the right time and right time is now. Las Vegas is a world apart… everything is possible here, everything is allowed… because what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!

I’m here for a few days for the pleasure of meeting some dear friends and savouring the pleasures of excess! You know my little passion for having a little flutter. Here I like to alternate moments of complete relaxation with a rendezvous at the gaming tables. I like the risk, I like to feel the adrenaline entering the bloodstream… The balance at the end always seems even. Sometimes I win and others I lose, but I am able to console myself with the thought that I’m lucky in Love!!!

Ho lasciato Cavalli Island per una breve sosta a Firenze e poi di nuovo in volo, destinazione Las Vegas!

Cavalli Island, Firenze, Las Vegas. Cosa hanno in comune queste tre località? Il comune denominatore è il piacere di scoprire e riscoprire le bellezze del nostro pianeta…

Cavalli Island è la pace, il contatto con una natura incantata. È un po’ come ritrovarsi in un mondo diverso dove si riscopre il piacere dei lunghi silenzi, delle lunghe camminate… guardarsi dentro e riscoprirsi. Cavalli Island è un dono della natura…

Firenze è Arte. Firenze è l’inizio della cultura moderna. Firenze è il Rinascimento, la ricerca della bellezza in ogni sua possibile forma. Firenze è l’ispirazione e la creatività. Firenze è l’origine di tutto… Firenze è casa. Passeggiare per le strade di Firenze è come viaggiare nel tempo… se socchiudi gli occhi riesci a sentire i rumori e i profumi del Rinascimento… e quando li riapri scopri che qui il tempo non è mai passato…

Las Vegas è la città del divertimento, una città dei balocchi per adulti… Las Vegas è la città degli eccessi, qui tutto è doppio, triplo e anche di più…! Mi piacciono le sue luci, i suoi colori, il fatto che qui gli orologi non servono… è sempre l’ora giusta e il tempo sembra non scorrere. Las Vegas è un mondo a parte… qui tutto è possibile, tutto è permesso… anche perché quello che succede a Las Vegas rimane a Las Vegas! – “What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas!”

Sono qui per qualche giorno per il piacere di incontrare dei cari amici e assaporare il piacere dell’eccesso! Conoscete la mia piccola passione per il gioco e qui mi piace alternare momenti di completo relax a qualche rendezvous ai tavoli da gioco. Mi piace il rischio, sentire l’adrenalina che entra in circolo… Il saldo alla fine è sempre in pareggio, qualche volta vinco e altre perdo ma mi consolo al pensiero che sono comunque fortunato in Amore!!!
