Just Cavalli Spring / Summer 2011 Fashion Show

JUST CAVALLI COLLECTION – SPRING/SUMMER 2011

The Just Cavalli collection for Spring/Summer 2011 is devoted to young jet-setters and their glamorous, original style.
Young men and women are the leading players of a decisive but unpredictable generation. We find modern princesses who love art and combine family tradition with contemporary flair.
The ‘It Girls’ who choose Just Cavalli declare their individualism through a look that alludes to the legendary ‘Saint-Tropez’ of the Seventies and Mediterranean hotspots such as Ibiza, Mykonos and the Island of Cavallo: the favourite destinations of an international jeunesse dorée that, even today, wants to see and be seen … as in times past.

MATERIALS:
Denim is the star:

  • Jeans that are ‘super-washed’, bleached or singed with fire
  • Embroidered with pearls and crystals on shirts, jackets and oversized T-shirts
  • Jackets and vests, with a mix of original vintage jacquard from the Seventies, the modern reproduction of the first historic RC patchwork
  • Trousers in all over lasered leopard print

Leather items: aged laminated suede with flower appliqués, suede ribbons laser cut and lined in silk for oversized jackets, or with raw edges applied fringes.
We see also bright coloured maxi-dresses, trousers and shirts in silk printed chiffon or ultra-light silk gauze.

Silk dresses embroidered with all-white flower appliqués or in taffeta in mixed animalier prints, lace, crushed silk and animalier jacquards.

ACCESSORIES:
Pins and macro-necklaces made with sea-coloured agates, framed in metal silver and gold.
Footwear comes in a mix of leather and multicolour fabrics, like the fringed macrobags.
The look is completed with wide-brimmed hats made of crocodile-print brown leather or denim.
