Roberto Cavalli Celebrates the Opening of First Japan Flagship Store

Roberto Cavalli visited Tokyo to celebrate the opening of the brand’s first Japan flagship store on Tuesday November 1st, hosting a star-studded crowd at the new store in Tokyo’s fashionable Minami Aoyama district, followed by a party at the city’s most recently opened nightclub, Sound Museum Vision.
Guests including Norika Fujiwara, Ai Tominaga, Natsuki Okamoto, Hidetoshi Nakata, Yu Yamada, Tetsuya Bessho, Anna Umemiya, Roland Kirishima, Izumi Mori, Girolamo Panzetta, Gianfranco Schimone, Chris and Yukari Peppler, Mika An, Iconiq, Yuta Nakano, Yoko Kuramoto, Kyoko Kugo, Rie Matsuoka, and Shuntaro Miyao attended the celebration all wearing Roberto Cavalli.
A champagne reception was hosted earlier in the evening to toast the new Roberto Cavalli boutique for VIP guests and guests received special animalier print macarons as a parting gift.
Sound Museum Vision was then transformed for the evening into a Cavalli paradise of modern elegance. Guests entered into the Roberto Cavalli experience with walls adorned by the house’s animalier print with iconic imagery on the walls from the Maison’s illustrious 40-year history.
Champagne was served throughout the night, as well as Roberto Cavalli Vodka.
Global superstar DJ Max Chipchase flew in to Japan for the occasion, and together with Japan’s own DJ Silva, kept the guests dancing well into the morning hours.
Japan’s legendary guitarist, Tomoyasu Hottei, completely wowed the crowd in the packed club with his secret live performance in an amazing collaboration with renowned DJ Tomoyuki Tanaka (Fantastic Plastic Machine).
