Although the economic crisis that everyone is going through has tamed our creativity, our dreams and the desire to improve, after a night like last night I realized that there is still an interest in fashion and a great desire to look beautiful and seductive. I perceived from the eyes of women that seem to tell me “Roberto, you know how to make me shine, and don’t stop!” This gave me a very strong emotional charge to continue my creative journey.

Jennifer and Marc have been guests on my boat on the French Riviera. We talk on the phone and exchanged a lot of text messages, but unfortunately I had not had the occasion to see them until yesterday, when we met to go together to the WMA. I finally had the chance to meet their two beautiful twins, Max and Emme, and I played with them, while
Jennifer was getting ready.

The red carpet was a very emotional moment in my life. I have done many fashion shows and have participated in several events, and sometimes I feel like I lost the excitement and enthusiasm, but walking the red
carpet with Jennifer Lopez last night was fantastic.

Jennifer is definitely sexy, sexy, sexy and 100% feminine!
As both a man and a designer I can say that I was particularly struck by her natural beauty and her incredible complexion. There were lots of photographers and everyone called out “Jennifer!, Jennifer!” trying
to catch her eye. I did so many interviews before I got to my table …it was a crazy experience!

Upon entering the great hall of the Sporting Club, I embraced my dear friend Andrea Bocelli and his wonderful wife Veronica, and then greeted many friends: the beautiful Kelly Rowland, Afef Tronchetti Provera, Clotilde Courau, Karolina Kurkova, and many others.

This huge and friendly crowd helped me get out of the isolation in which I have recently dipped and has completely renewed my spirit!

When I finally arrived at my table, Jennifer began her extraordinary performance, and it was a triumph!
All stood up to sing and dance, and we realized how lucky we were to be able to view a live performance of such an icon of pop music as Jennifer Lopez. She truly captures determination, energy, beauty and incredible talent.

I am very happy and proud to know her, I am proud to be her friend. It was a very special evening … once again, music and fashion together to create a fabulous experience!

La crisi economica e in generale i momenti di difficoltà che ognuno di noi sta attraversando hanno rarefatto i desideri, la nostra creatività, i nostri sogni e anche il desiderio di migliorare, ma dopo una serata come ieri sera mi rendo conto che vi è ancora interesse per la moda e un grande desiderio di apparire stupenda e seducente. L’ho percepito dagli sguardi delle donne, sembravano dirmi “Roberto, tu sai come farmi brillare, continua e non smettere!” Questo mi ha dato una carica emotiva molto forte nel continuare il mio percorso creativo.

Jennifer e Marc sono stati ospiti nella mia barca in Costa Azzurra. Ci siamo sentiti per telefono e scambiati un sacco di messaggini, ma purtroppo non ho avuto occasione di vederli fino a ieri, quando ci siamo incontrati per recarci insieme al WMA. Ho finalmente avuto la possibilità di incontrare i loro due stupendi gemelli, Max ed Emme ed ho giocato con loro, mentre Jennifer si preparava.

Il tappeto rosso è stato un momento molto emozionante, nel corso della mia vita ho fatto tante sfilate di moda ed ho partecipato a diversi eventi, e a volte mi sembra come se avessi perso l’emozione e l’entusiasmo, ma camminare sul tappeto rosso con Jennifer Lopez la scorsa notte è stato fantastico. Jennifer è decisamente sexy, sexy, sexy e femminile al 100%!

Sono rimasto particolarmente colpito dalla sua naturale bellezza e dalla sua incredibile carnagione, e lo dico sia come uomo che come designer. C’erano un sacco di fotografi e tutti la chiamavano ad alta voce “Jennifer!, Jennifer!” nel tentativo di catturare un suo sguardo.

Ho fatto così tante interviste prima di arrivare al mio tavolo … è stata una folle esperienza!

Appena entrati nella grande sala dello Sporting Club, ho abbracciato il mio caro amico Andrea Bocelli e la sua meravigliosa moglie Veronica, e poi ha salutato tanti amici: la bellissima Kelly Rowland, Afef Tronchetti Provera, Clotilde Courau, Karolina Kurkova, Ariadne Artiles e molti altri.

Questa folla enorme e accogliente mi ha aiutato a tirarmi fuori dall’isolamento in cui mi ero recentemente immerso, ed ha completamente rinnovato il mio spirito!

Quando sono finalmente arrivato al mio tavolo, Jennifer ha iniziato la sua straordinaria performance, e’ stato un trionfo!

Tutti si sono alzati in piedi a cantare e ballare, e ci siamo resi conto di quanto siamo fortunati nell’assistere ad una performance dal vivo di una icona della musica pop come Jennifer Lopez. Determinazione, energia, bellezza e un talento incredibile.

Sono molto felice e orgoglioso di conoscerla, sono orgoglioso di essere suo amico.

E’ stata una serata molto speciale… ancora una volta musica e moda insieme per creare un’esperienza favolosa!
