138.LOOK AND FITTING OF ROBERTO CAVALLI
It is an exciting time, full of tension.
The stylist looks and analyzes every single dress, looking for the right match. Eva and I, for the moment, we observe without intervening, without interrupting. During this supervision the stylist gives a dress to the model… look for the right shoes… a quick look at the 100 handbags carefully arranged on a long table…
Once the style is chosen a picture is taken and then attached to a large panel… This is only the first choice… very far from the final look, the one that will be on the fashion show!
During the fitting every model will receive a dedicated look… we need to find the right interpreter for each of our creations… often we test the same dress out of ten girls… we are looking for perfection…!
Exciting but exhausting!

È un momento eccitante, carico di tensione.
La stylist guarda e analizza ogni singolo capo, cerca il giusto abbinamento. Eva ed io, per il momento, la osserviamo senza intervenire, senza interromperla. Durante questa supervisione, la stylist porge un abito alla modella… cerca le scarpe che ritiene giuste… un’occhiata alle cento borse sistemate con cura su un lungo tavolo…
A scelta finita viene scattata una foto che viene attaccata su un grande pannello… Questa è solo una primissima scelta… molto lontano dal look finale che sfilerà sulla passerella!
Durante il fitting a ogni modella viene destinato un look completo… dobbiamo trovare la giusta interprete per ogni nostra creazione… spesso, proviamo lo stesso abito su dieci ragazze… siamo alla ricerca della perfezione…!
Emozionante ma estenuante!
