I decide to attend the casting of JUST CAVALLI. I need forty beautiful and sexy girls, it is not easy, most of the models who come from the agencies are a little too skinny! It is the first time I do not trust anybody but myself. I want to choose and decide for myself!
The fitting keeps me busy all day. Before the fashion show I am nervous… the stylist – the person who assembles the finished garments to create a modern look which could be appealing to the most demanding journalists – is not interpreting what is in my head and the ideas that led me to create these garments for the fashion show. My work is more concentrated in the design rather than the styling… I love the colors and I try to create fantasies as if they were paintings that I want to exhibit… the beautiful girls wearing them are the beautiful setting that makes my creations come alive!
The fashion show is a great success!
JUST CAVALLI has suffered in recent seasons due to the change of the licence. Before, JUST CAVALLI was licensed to ITR and now is licensed to STAFF-INTERNATIONAL. Because of the difficulties we had with ITR in the past I decided to devote a lot of personal attention and love to the JUST CAVALLI collections!
On the JUST CAVALLI runway we had six male models and one of the models is the boyfriend of Sharon Stone, Martin. A very nice guy, polite and… young! Sharon would have liked to be present at the fashion show, but because of jetlag she decides to rest and come that evening for the opening of the new boutique JUST CAVALLI in Milan.
For the occasion, we closed the entire street and we decked it out like a disco. A stage housed the DJ and the big stars who made it a thrilling evening with lots and lots of music for “US”, the young!

I arrive at the party around 9 pm with Sharon and Martin. Corso Matteotti is completely blocked by fans and a young crowd who also want to attend the party. We are escorted by six bodyguards… they accompany us to a kind of VIP-SECTION they have created in the middle of the street.
Sharon begins to feel claustrophobic… too many people too close around us, jostling us so that even I do not feel entirely safe. I try to protect Sharon who calls to Martin to get her away from the crowd. I am concerned only for her… I feel more comfortable now… we have succeeded in getting out and now we can “see the stars…”
I duck back into the boutique… gradually the crowd begins to diminish… many girls are asking me to take a picture with them… tomorrow I will definitely be on Facebook… it cost me very little to make them happy and I am doing it with sincere spontaneity…

Ho deciso di assistere al casting di JUST CAVALLI. Desidero quaranta ragazze bellissime e sexy, non è facile, la maggior parte delle modelle che arrivano dalle agenzie sono troppo magre! È la prima volta che non mi fido dei miei ragazzi, desidero scegliere e decidere personalmente!
Il fitting m’impegna tutto il giorno… prima della sfilata sono nervosissimo… la stylist, la persona che assembla i capi finiti e crea un look moderno che possa essere di gradimento anche ai giornalisti più esigenti, non interpreta ciò che è nella mia testa e le idee che mi hanno portato a creare questi capi per la sfilata. La mia creatività è maggiormente concentrata nel disegno più che nello stile… amo i colori e cerco di creare fantasie come se fossero quadri che desidero esporre… la bella ragazza che li indossa è la meravigliosa cornice che rende viva la mia creazione!
La sfilata è un successo!
JUST CAVALLI ha sofferto nelle ultime stagioni a causa del cambiamento della licenza che prima mi univa a ITR e che adesso invece è passata a STAFF–INTERNATIONAL. A causa delle difficoltà avute con ITR nel passato, ho deciso di dedicare molta attenzione e amore alle collezioni JUST CAVALLI!
Ho fatto sfilare sei capi da uomo, e uno dei modelli era il fidanzato di Sharon Stone, Martin. Un ragazzo molto carino, educato e… giovanissimo! Sharon avrebbe voluto essere presente alla sfilata, ma a causa del jetlag ha preferito riposarsi per essere presente la sera stessa all’apertura della nuova boutique JUST CAVALLI.
Per l’occasione abbiamo chiuso la galleria che fa angolo con il negozio e l’abbiamo addobbata come una discoteca. Un palco ospitava il DJ e le grandi star che hanno elettrizzato la serata con tanta, tanta musica per “NOI” giovani!

Sono arrivato alle nove in compagnia di Sharon Stone e Martin. Corso Matteotti era completamente bloccato da fans e ragazzi che desideravano partecipare al party. Riusciamo a farci largo con l’aiuto di sei muscolosi bodyguards… ci accompagnano in una specie di VIP-SECTION che è stata creata a metà della galleria.
Sharon inizia a soffrire di claustrofobia… troppe persone intorno a noi che spingono. Anch’io non mi sento sicuro ma cerco di proteggere Sharon che chiede a Martin di portarla via da questa folla indemoniata. Sono preoccupato solo per lei… mi sento più tranquillo… siamo riusciti, fra spintoni e urla, a uscire fuori e a “riveder le stelle…”
Mi rituffo nel negozio… lentamente la folla incomincia a sfoltirsi… tantissime ragazze che mi chiedono una foto… sicuramente domani sarò su Facebook… mi costa veramente poco farle felici e mi ci dedico con sincera spontaneità…

The house is indescribable, with a beautiful park and with in the center an ancient tree. A fine dinner… great guests… including the Spanish Minister of Justice.
