Let me tell you… this place is truly the most beautiful and the most special in Ibiza. If you are in the Mediterranean you cannot miss Ibiza and if you go to Ibiza you should definitely come to the Cavalli Club…

Yesterday I arrived in Ibiza with my sons Daniele @danielecavalli Robert @robertcavalli and the beautiful Magdalena Frackowiak @frackowiakmagdalena

Last night I wanted to create a surprise so we showed up at the Cavalli Club for a mega dinner! We had a great time… what can I say… a great place… excellent company, good music and delicious food… the ideal ingredients for a perfect evening in Cavalli Happy World style!

On Ibiza Marina, in the most exclusive location in Ibiza, I created a tropical garden with a breath-taking view… furnished with elements from the Cavalli Home Collection… exclusive floral prints and the unmistakable animal prints.

I wanted to export to Ibiza the Italian excellences – Fashion, Food and Design. Centre of social life and celebrity destination the Cavalli Club Ibiza is the place where the Joie de Vivre is at home…

This is my philosophy… the joy of living interpreted in all of its many aspects…

I wish to meet you for a toast along with the carefree happiness that is at home here in Ibiza…

Lasciatemelo dire… questo locale è veramente il più bello e il più speciale di Ibiza. Se passate per il Mediterraneo non potete tralasciare Ibiza e se passate da Ibiza dovete assolutamente venire al Cavalli Club…

Ieri sono arrivato a Ibiza insieme ai miei figli Daniele @danielecavalli e Robert @robertcavalli e alla bellissima Magdalena Frackowiak @frackowiakmagdalena

Ieri sera ho voluto fare una sorpresa e ci siamo presentati tutti al Cavalli Club per una mega cena! Ci siamo divertiti molto… che dire… locale fantastico… ottima compagnia, buona musica e deliziosi piatti… gli ingredienti ideali per una serata in perfetto stile Cavalli Happy World!

A Ibiza Marina, nella location più esclusiva di Ibiza, ho creato un giardino tropicale con una vista mozzafiato… ho arredato il locale con gli elementi della collezione Cavalli Home… ricercate stampe floreali e l’inconfondibile stampa animalier.

Ho esportato a Ibiza l’eccellenza Italiana – la moda, la cucina e il design. Centro della vita mondana e meta di celebrità il Cavalli Club di Ibiza è il luogo dove la Joie de Vivre è di casa…

Questa è la mia filosofia… la gioia di vivere interpretata in tutte le sue molteplici forme…

Vi aspetto per brindare insieme con la spensierata felicità che qui a Ibiza è di casa…

302. Ibiza, the island of fun…

For those of you who have never been to Ibiza is hard to imagine the rhythm that governs the life and the fun of the thousands of people who converge on this island every summer…

Its origins date back to 645 BC. Ibiza is located off the coast of Spain, 49 Miles to be exact. It is one of the Balearic Islands and the highest point is only 475 meters above sea level. The entire surface of the island is only 232 square miles. Recognized for its Biodiversity and Culture, Ibiza is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The average temperature from June to September is about 25 degrees, with a pleasant breeze.

Ibiza is famous for its beaches … Cala Conta, Cala Bassa, Cala Portinatx, Cala Llonga, Cala Tarida Playa d’en Bossa, Talamanca, Ses Salines …

In Ibiza you’re on the beach until sunset puts on a show that nature repeats every day with its endless variations in shade from pink to orange to deep red. Around 9 PM you get together with friends for an aperitif and then dinner, but never before midnight. Around two o’clock you go to the discotheque and enjoy dancing to the latest rhythms played by the hottest DJs…

In Ibiza you can hear a multitude of languages with people always able to understand each other… sometimes with the help of gesture!

When do you sleep? In Ibiza the fun knows no pause… the wheel of fun is spinning 24 hours a day…

Time flies here in Ibiza, Tempus Fugit – as the Latins used to say. Maybe it’s because when you’re having fun time goes faster…

302. Ibiza, l’isola del Divertimento…

Per chi non è mai stato a Ibiza è difficile immaginare il ritmo che regola la vita e il divertimento delle migliaia di persone che convergono ogni estate su quest’isola…

Le sue origini risalgono al 645 a.C. Ibiza si trova al largo della Spagna, 80 chilometri per la precisione. Fa parte delle isole Baleari e il punto più alto si trova a soli 475 metri sul livello del mare. L’intera superfice dell’isola è di appena 600 chilometri quadrati. Riconosciuta per la sua Biodiversità e Patrimonio Culturale Ibiza è un area protetta dall’UNESCO come Patrimonio Mondiale dell’Umanità. La temperatura media da Giugno a Settembre è di circa 25 gradi accompagnata da una piacevole brezza.

Ibiza è famosa per le sue spiagge… Cala Conta, Cala Bassa, Cala Portinax, Cala Llonga, Cala Tarida, Playa d’en Bossa, Talamanca, Ses Salines…

Si sta in spiaggia fino al tramonto per uno spettacolo che la natura ripete ogni giorno con le sue infinite variazioni di tonalità dal rosa all’arancione fino al rosso intenso. Verso le 21 aperitivo con gli amici e cena, mai prima di mezzanotte. Verso le due ci si prepara per quattro salti in discoteca con il ritmo scandito dai successi dei DJ più in voga…

A Ibiza si parla una moltitudine di lingue ma ci si riesce sempre a capire… a volte anche gesticolando!

Quando si dorme? A Ibiza il divertimento non conosce pause… la ruota del divertimento qui gira 24 ore su 24…

Il tempo qui a Ibiza sembra volare, Tempus Fugit – come dicevano i Latini. Forse perché quando ci si diverte il tempo passa più velocemente…

301. Navigating around the Mediterranean Sea…

The sea has always fascinated me since I was a child.

The relationship between man and the sea is something fascinating and mysterious at the same time… For centuries navigation has meant a journey into the unknown… a discovery of new worlds and civilizations…

My fondest memories are tied to sea travel… I remember when I used to spend a whole month on the boat with my children Cristiana and Tommaso… I did everything myself, I was the hub, the cook and the captain… the children enjoyed themselves as children do.

Tommaso always asked me thousands of questions… his thirst for knowledge was endless… he kept me company at the helm during our crossings and often fell asleep listening to my stories…

I am on the gorgeous Island of Sardinia, the bat-zodiac is almost ready for another summer of rediscovery the Mediterranean Sea…

Life on a boat relaxes me… it’s like living in a small apartment… with just few things, the essentials… I like to get up early in the morning and go to buy fish, fruits and vegetables at the local market…

They say I’m also a decent cook… actually my dishes are very simple but very tasty…

Living on a boat also offers the opportunity to live in close contact with nature, between the blue of the sky and the many colour variations of the Mediterranean Sea…

My first stop will be in Ibiza, the most fun island in the Mediterranean… on July 27th and 28th I will be at the Cavalli Club in Ibiza for the Grand Opening…

301. Navigando per il Mediterraneo…

Il mare mi ha sempre affascinato, fin da bambino.

Il rapporto che lega l’uomo con il mare è qualcosa di affascinante e misterioso al tempo stesso… per secoli navigare è stato un viaggio verso l’ignoto… alla scoperta di civiltà e nuovi mondi…

I miei ricordi più belli sono legati ai viaggi per mare… mi ricordo quando con i miei figli Cristiana e Tommaso ci divertivamo a passare un mese intero in barca… facevo tutto io, ero mozzo, cuoco e capitano… i bambini si divertivano come solo loro sanno fare.

Tommaso mi tempestava sempre di domande… la sua sete di conoscenza era infinita… mi faceva compagnia al timone durante le nostre traversate e spesso si addormentava ascoltando i miei racconti…

In questi giorni sono nella splendida Sardegna, il bat-gommone è quasi pronto per un’altra estate alla riscoperta del Mar Mediterraneo…

La vita in barca mi rilassa… è come vivere in un piccolo appartamento… poche cose, essenziali… mi piace alzarmi presto la mattina, andare a comprare pesce, frutta e verdure al mercatino…

Dicono che sono anche un discreto cuoco… in realtà i miei piatti sono molto semplici ma molto appetitosi…

La vita in barca offre inoltre la possibilità di vivere a stretto contatto con la natura, fra il blu del cielo e le mille variazioni di colore del mare Mediterraneo…

La mia prima tappa sarà Ibiza, l’isola più vacanziera del Mediterraneo… il 27 e 28 Luglio sarò al Cavalli Club di Ibiza per l’inaugurazione ufficiale…
