Roberto Cavalli is pleased to announce that he will be in Beirut on the 4th of January 2013 to celebrate the opening of the Cavalli Caffè.

With an inside capacity of around eighty guests, the exclusive location will be situated in the Karagulla Building, within the immediate proximity of the Beirut Souks, the business district and the famous nightlife district overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

In the Cavalli Caffè a boutique shop will offer the possibility to purchase a wide range of imported Italian delicacies, such as chocolate gift boxes, Cavalli Reserve red Wine, Cavalli Premium Italian Vodka and Grappa.

The Cavalli Caffè will offer a mouthwatering selection of the finest Italian cuisine. Suitable for morning brunches, trendy lunches, lounged afternoons and glamorous evenings, it will attract the most important clients of the elite Lebanese society. Cavalli’s signature creative touch can be seen in the zebra and giraffe prints, in the fashionable chairs and sofas, in the crystal lamps as well as other striking details of the contemporary interior.

The Cavalli Caffè experience finds its roots in the historical Cavalli Caffè Giacosa, located in Via Tornabuoni in Florence, an antique shop founded in 1815, which was a meeting place for a refined and noble Florentine clientele, which Roberto Cavalli brought back to life, preserving the elegance of the setting.

Roberto Cavalli takes us on a leafy conservatory, where lush flowers are mixed with small jaguar touches, creating a universe of prints and serigraphs. Dresses in chiffon pleated and fluffy tulle skirts, but also leather jackets embellished with macro-stones applied for little princesses of gritty soul. The palette incorporates the colors of a winter bouquet ranging from amaranth, lilac, pink, yellow and green leaf. Black, through the issue and became the leitmotif brightened with glitter touches and micro-rhinestones, shining like drops of dew.

LIMOGES

For autumn/winter 2013/2014 dedicated to the boys, Roberto Cavalli offers a mix and a match of fabrics reminiscent of the world of the English countryside. Tartan and twill motifs play, alternating in patchwork patterns on jackets and vests. A succession of overlays for the palette of colors: brown, vibrant cobalt blue and orange broken by touches of ocher yellow, used both as a cutting color as plain. Important attention to details: small patches and trims are made of soft leather, as well as the logo reapplied on garments. Finally Scottish flavor for the iconic leather jacket made of vintage leather and treated with special washes.

ICE LAND

Roberto Cavalli ci conduce in un rigoglioso giardino d’inverno, dove fiori lussureggianti si mescolano a piccoli tocchi giaguaro, dando vita ad un universo di stampe e serigrafie. Abiti in chiffon plissé e vaporose gonne in tulle, ma anche giubbini in pelle impreziositi da macropietre applicate, per piccole principesse dall’animo grintoso. La palette riprende i colori di un bouquet invernale spaziando dall’amaranto, al lilla, al rosa, al giallo e al verde foglia. Il nero, attraversa il tema e ne diventa il filo conduttore, illuminandosi grazie a tocchi glitter e a microstrass, lucenti come gocce di rugiada.

Le nuance prescelte sono quelle del bianco, del grigio freddo e del blu acciaio con tocchi di verde acceso a contrasto nei dettagli. In questo mondo troviamo piumini avvolgenti, pantaloni in tessuto estremamente funzionali grazie a tasche strategiche oppure dalle linee morbide e pulite ma in comodissimo tessuto spigato bianco e grigio.

174. The First Days of 2013…

I have so much to tell you, I want to feel surrounded by love and respect. I will be brief so as not to bore you…

I’m not kidding when I talk of you as dear friends, many are, many followed me from the beginning and if I do not show signs of myself in a while, many of you become anxious. I could almost begin to call you “my big family.” I do not know why I started to tell you about myself, my daily adventures, but now I cannot stop… my life is part of yours… your lives are part of mine… DO YOU LOVE ME? I LOVE YOU!

I am going to tell you what happened after my short holiday in Dubai. I went to Beirut to inaugurate the CAVALLI CAFE situated on one of its most important streets… very nice! My style, my fashion shown in a lovely cafe restaurant!

I arrive at 10 pm… thousands of fans are screaming and anxiously waiting for me so that we can get our pictures taken together. I fuel up my adrenaline and I start to play as a star! After two hours, the same plane that took me to Beirut brings me back to Milan!

On my return to Italy I start to feel not so well. I will not keep you in apprehension but because of a strong colic I am transported urgently to hospital in Milan. I am telling you this just to let you know the cause of my silence! I was discharged this afternoon and I’m happy to finally sleep in my bed!

Sunday the 13th my son Daniele had organized a special evening to present the autumn – winter 2013 menswear collection… a great success… a unique evening… very innovative!

I missed this event… I was updated minute by minute by being on the phone with Daniele. Perhaps this great feeling made me heal faster!

The Surgeon who took care of my colic put me on a resting regime and he insisted I not push on the accelerator of my life for the next month! It will not be easy… I should begin to take care of myself a little more!

Avrei tantissime cose da raccontarvi. Desidero sentirmi circondato di affetto e stima ma sarò molto breve per non perdervi, per non annoiarvi!

Non scherzo quando parlo di voi come cari amici, molti lo sono, mi hanno seguito fin dall’inizio e se non do segni di vita, molti sono in ansia. Potrei quasi cominciare a chiamarla “la mia grande famiglia”. Non so perché ho incominciato a raccontarvi di me, delle mie avventure giornaliere, ma adesso non posso smettere… la mia vita e parte della vostra… e la vostra e parte della mia… MI VOLETE BENE? I LOVE YOU!

Dopo la mia breve vacanza a Dubai sono andato a Beirut per inaugurare il CAVALLI CAFFÈ in una delle vie più importanti… molto bello! Il mio stile, la mia moda nell’arredamento di un delizioso caffè ristorante!

Sono arrivato alle 10 di sera, migliaia di fans mi aspettavano urlando e trepidando per avere una foto con me! Ho messo in moto la mia adrenalina e mi sono messo a fare la star! Dopo due ore sono ripartito per Milano con lo stesso aereo che mi ha accompagnato a Beirut!

Al mio rientro in Italia ho iniziato a sentirmi poco bene. Non voglio tenervi in ansia ma a causa di una forte colica sono stato trasportato con urgenza in ospedale a Milano. Ve lo racconto solo per farvi capire la causa del mio silenzio! Sono stato dimesso questo pomeriggio e sono felice di dormire finalmente nel mio letto!

Domenica 13 mio figlio Daniele ha organizzato una serata speciale per presentare la collezione uomo autunno – inverno 2013… grande successo… una serata unica… molto innovativa!

Questo evento l’ho perso… ma l’ho seguito minuto per minuto al telefono con Daniele. Forse questa emozione mi ha fatto guarire più velocemente!

Il professore che mi ha operato ha insistito affinché non spinga sull’acceleratore del mio sistema di vita nel prossimo mese!
Non sarà facile… dovrò incominciare a pensare un po’ a me stesso!

Non smetterò di pensare anche a voi… prendetevi cura di voi…
