103. Summer has finally arrived…
The colors begin to take their true identity…
Thursday late afternoon I ran away from the office “DO NOT LOOK FOR ME… TOMORROW I WILL BE REALLY BUSY!”
I can’t wait to get to my boat, moored in the marina of Porto Rotondo. Supply of fruit, water and plenty of salad! When I’m on the boat I almost become a vegetarian. If I decide to stay in the harbor, I prepare a salad with tomatoes and mozzarella! And then… sun… sun… sun!
The next morning we leave early, heading to Corsica. Calm sea, beautiful day, we stop at Piana island, one of the most enchanting places to spend a day of true sea! It seems like a huge swimming pool… light blue… green… turquoise!
The water is not deep… after launching the small zodiac we take it with Lupo to where the water is most shallow. I push Lupo in water and from that point on I realize I have a friend who loves to swim… I brought a ball and Lupo is literally going insane… he rans in the shallows and swims when the water becomes too deep for him. Like a child he become sad when we decide to go back to the boat!
At dusk we head for Bonifacio… the entrance to the channel is hard to find… we head towards the town… the shoreline is made of rock cliffs tens of meters high… I must maintain a maximum speed of 5 miles… finally we see Bonifacio, as in a vision!
It is a small horseshoe-shaped harbor with lots of white boats of various lengths, which partially hide the charming character houses beyond. Many restaurants and bars separate the small main road from the water.
We moor between two large boats and go for a walk in the village. A place like no other, like the warmth of the people who live there…
Many small and quaint shops invite you to browse and buy! I buy some beautiful fruit. In the same shop I discover a small wine section of good French wines. I cheat on my own excellent wine when Lucette, the owner, recommends five bottles of great French wine to me. Judging from the price, it must be really special!
The best restaurant in Corsica is here in Bonifacio. It is called
LE CARAVELLE and, of course, fish dishes are its specialty… I know the owners and later will surprise them!
I got a surprise myself, but I will tell you about it tomorrow…

103. Finalmente è Arrivata l’Estate…
I colori incominciano a prendere la loro vera identità…
Sono scappato dall’ufficio giovedì sera, “NON MI CERCATE… DOMANI SARO’ IMPEGNATISSIMO!”
Non vedo l’ora di arrivare al mio gommone, ormeggiato nel porticciolo di Porto Rotondo. Rifornimento di frutta, acqua e tanta insalata! Quando sono in barca divento quasi vegetariano. Se decido di stare in rada, mi preparo una ricca insalata con pomodori e mozzarella! E poi… sole… sole… sole!
La mattina seguente siamo partiti presto in direzione della Corsica. Mare calmo, giornata splendida, ci siamo fermati all’isola Piana uno dei posti più incantevoli per trascorrere una giornata di vero mare! Sembra un’enorme piscina… celeste… verde… turchese!
I fondali sono bassi e dopo aver calato in mare il piccolo gommone siamo andati con Lupo nel punto più basso. Ho spinto Lupo in acqua e da quel momento ho capito di avere un amico che ama nuotare… Mi sono portato una palla e Lupo è letteralmente impazzito, corre nell’acqua bassa e nuota quando l’acqua diventa troppo alta. E, come un bambino, e diventato triste quando abbiamo deciso di tornare in barca!
All’imbrunire ci siamo diretti a Bonifacio, l’entrata del canale è difficile da individuare… ci dirigiamo verso la cittadella… sponde di roccia alte varie decine di metri… devo mantenere una velocità massima di 5 miglia… finalmente ci appare Bonifacio, come in una visione!
Un piccolo porto a ferro di cavallo con tantissime barche bianche di varie lunghezze che nascondono parzialmente le caratteristiche case. Tanti ristoranti e bar separano la piccola strada principale dall’acqua.
Dopo aver ormeggiato in mezzo a due grandi barche andiamo a fare una passeggiata in paese. Una cittadina veramente speciale, come la cordialità di chi ci vive…
Tanti piccoli e caratteristici negozi che ti invitano a curiosare e a comprare! Mi sono limitato a comprare della bellissima frutta. Nello stesso negozio ho poi scoperto una piccola enoteca di buoni vini francesi. Ho fatto un corno al mio ottimo vino e Lucette, la proprietaria, mi ha consigliato cinque bottiglie, che a giudicare dal prezzo devono essere speciali!
A Bonifacio c’è il miglior ristorante della Corsica,
LE CARAVELLE, naturalmente la specialità sono i piatti a base di pesce… Conosco bene i proprietari e più tardi gli farò una sorpresa!
Anch’io avrò una sorpresa, ma ve la racconterò domani…

A wonderful DVD film on the small screen of the bat-zodiac… but do not think that the evening ends in this way… I spend half of the night on Twitter! It pleases me to see the admiration people feel for me… certainly for my fashion… but I think my spontaneity surprises them! The thoughts that we exchange with the short,140-character messages bring us closer together and unite us “con simpatia!”
In my last blog I told you about my thoughts… my dreams. On Twitter I am presenting a designer different from the one you imagined, colored like my fashion… with a positivity and personality transmitted through my words!
