227. September will be a busy month…
My holidays this year were very relaxing… I circumnavigated the Mediterranean visiting wonderful places! I had some very beautiful moments with my grandchildren, my angels… I had the pleasure of visiting some dear friends… Winds and currents carried me away as they did the navigators of old…
The beauty and colors of the Mediterranean have provided me with lots of ideas for my next creations. I have often stopped to admire the shapes created by the wind, by the force of the sea and the power of the sun that have shaped the rocks, creating perfect works of art, unique, worthy of a talented sculptor…
And you dear friends, how did you spend your holidays? What wonderful places did you visit?
But now I must return to my dedication to fashion and to the hundreds of families who depend on me… I have to re-open the drawer where, just for a moment, I put my creativity away…
This fall will be full of commitments, the new collections, the Cavalli Home collection at the Salone del Mobile in Milan, the opening of the new Cavalli Club in Miami…
I already know that I expect to spend several hours in flight… I will use my time updating this blog with my inseparable Nokia Communicator… unfortunately no longer in production… I’ve been buying as many of them as possible around the world…
Our beloved Italy is going through a time of transition. I wish to do something about it and I’ll do it through my fashion… through the commitment that all my staff and I will devote to show the world the capabilities of “Made in Italy”.
Italy is a country of ancient traditions and we Italians are hard workers who have gone through many difficult times, but thanks to our consistent efforts and our genius we have always managed to recover and move ahead.

227. Settembre sarà un mese pieno di impegni…
Le mie vacanze quest’anno sono state molto rilassanti… ho circumnavigato il Mediterraneo visitando luoghi meravigliosi! Ho passato dei momenti molto belli in compagnia dei miei nipotini, i miei angeli… ho rivisto con piacere dei cari amici… mi sono lasciato trasportare dai venti e dalle correnti come un navigatore d’altri tempi…
La bellezza e i colori del Mediterraneo mi hanno fornito tantissimi spunti per le mie prossime creazioni. Mi sono spesso soffermato ad ammirare le forme create dal vento, dall’impeto del mare e dalla forza del sole che hanno forgiato le rocce creando opere d’arte perfette, uniche, degne del più bravo scultore…
E voi cari amici come avete trascorso le vostre vacanze? Quali posti meravigliosi avete visitato?
Ma ora devo ritornare a dedicarmi alla mia moda, devo pensare alle cinquecento famiglie che dipendono da me… devo riaprire quel cassetto dove, solo per un attimo, ho riposto la mia creatività…
Questo autunno sarà pieno di impegni, le nuove collezioni, la collezione Cavalli Home al Salone del Mobile, l’apertura del nuovissimo Cavalli Club a Miami…
So già che mi aspetteranno diverse ore da passare in volo… occuperò il mio tempo aggiornando questo Blog con il mio inseparabile Nokia Communicator… purtroppo non più in produzione… ho fatto incetta di tutti quelli che sono riuscito a trovare in giro per il mondo…
La nostra amata Italia sta attraversando un momento di transizione, vorrei poter fare qualcosa di concreto e lo farò attraverso la mia moda… attraverso l’impegno che io e tutti i miei collaboratori dedicheremo per mostrare al mondo intero le capacità del Made in Italy.
l’Italia è un paese di antiche tradizioni e gli Italiani sono un popolo di grandi lavoratori che hanno attraversato tante difficoltà ma grazie al loro costante impegno e alla tipica genialità sono sempre riusciti a risollevarsi.
