Although right now I can not express all my happiness, it is because at this moment I am not in a good mood…

I am certain that 2013 will be a year to remember…

It would inspire me more if it were a leap year since leap years are great for me, I was born a Friday in a leap year. I’m sure that the number 13 will bring me luck. I also want to play the Lotto!

As you can see I am the same, I am not changed!

Do you want to know about my holidays or the latest mess from the world of politics in Italy! Berlusconi got engaged! Beautiful woman… if he gave 10,000 Euro/month to the former girlfriends he will give a layette of real diamonds to this one!

But the most terrible thing is that he wants to continue in politics! Surely, he needs to pay a few mega debts and he hopes to get some new law that can save him from having to pay them.

Monti also has greatly disappointed me. I thought he would be the next president of Italy. Instead he got to like his former role in politics! Politics are tempting to all, rummaging in the pockets of 60 million Italians.
Or maybe, he will ask for some advice from Berlusconi, on how to spend the boring evenings at Palazzo Chigi!

The League Political Party, I cannot comment on them, I have no words to make you smile… just cry! Lets forget about it…

I left for Dubai on December 27th with my inseparable companion, two of my children with husband and wife and four grandchildren! I forgot to mention Lupo, my baby!

I have already spoken of the wonderful CAVALLI CLUB, one of the most important club / restaurants in the world! The owner Joe Tabet, sent his private plane and rented a beautiful villa, almost on the beach, at the hotel Kampisky.

We were all very curious and excited to see this villa that Joe had made available… it has a small rooftop pool with heated water and a large terrace for sunbathing…

I was delighted to see the excitement of the children and us adults!

Roberto Cavalli They had organized a sort of wine cellar and set it up as playroom… a large Christmas tree… with many packages in a shiny red paper full of stars! Lupo also found some toys and fake bones…!

I was very happy and proud to have made everyone happy…

We had so many programs… desert… aquarium… dolphins… but the whole thing was so special that we have implemented only a small part of what we had planned!

From tomorrow I begin again to be with you… I hope you missed me…

173. 2013, Sarà un Anno Meraviglioso, lo Sento!

Anche se in questo momento non so esprimere tutta la mia felicità… anche se in questo momento ho un giramento di palle veramente speciale…

Ho la sicurezza che il 2013 sarà un anno da non dimenticare…

Mi avrebbe ispirato di più se fosse stato bisestile poiché mi porta bene, sono nato di venerdì in un anno bisestile. Sono sicuro che il 13 mi porterà fortuna, lo voglio anche giocare al Lotto!

Come vedete, sono lo stesso non sono cambiato!

Volete sapere delle mie vacanze o delle ultime bischerate del mondo della politica in Italia… Berlusconi che si è fidanzato! Figa spaziale… se alle altre gli passava 10.000 euro al mese a questa gli fa un corredino tutto di brillanti, di quelli veri!

Ma la cosa più terribile è che vuole continuare a fare politica! Sicuramente ha bisogno di pagare qualche mega debito e spera di farsi qualche legge ad hoc.

Anche Monti mi ha fortemente deluso, lo credevo sopra le parti, lo immaginavo come prossimo presidente della Repubblica. Invece ci ha preso gusto! La politica fa gola a tutti… così come frugare nelle tasche di 60 milioni di Italiani…
O forse, chiederà qualche consiglio a Berlusconi su come trascorrere le serate noiose a Palazzo Chigi!

La Lega, non riesco a commentarla, non ho parole per farvi sorridere… solo piangere! Lasciamo perdere…

Sono partito il 27 dicembre per Dubai con la mia inseparabile compagna, due figli con relative mogli e mariti e quatto nipotini! Mi sono dimenticato di Lupo, il mio bambino a quattro zampe!

Vi ho già parlato del meraviglioso CAVALLI CLUB, uno dei ristoranti / discoteca più importanti al mondo! Il proprietario, Mr. Joe Tabet, mi ha inviato il suo aereo privato ed ha messo a disposizione una splendida villa quasi sulla spiaggia all’Hotel Kampisky.

Eravamo tutti molto curiosi ed eccitati di vedere questa villa… con piscina sul tetto con acqua riscaldata e una grande terrazza per prendere il sole…

Mi ha divertito vedere l’eccitazione dei bambini e di noi adulti!

Roberto Cavalli Avevano organizzato una specie di cantinetta allestita a sala giochi… un grande albero di Natale… con tanti pacchetti in una carta rossa lucida piena di stelline! Anche Lupo ha trovato qualche giocattolo… peluche e ossa finte!

Ero molto felice e fiero di avere reso tutti felici…

Abbiamo fatto tanti programmi… deserto… acquario… delfini… ma il tutto, era così speciale, che abbiamo messo in atto solo una piccolissima parte di quanto avevamo programmato!

Da domani incomincio di nuovo ad essere con voi… spero abbiate sentito la mia mancanza…

Vi mando un bacino grandissimo…

172. Will You Live Without Me?

I entered the Christmas spirit! I spend several hours wandering among the shops in Florence. I do not have a clear idea of what to put under the tree for my children and friends… is not easy!

I have some meetings, nothing interesting to bring to your desire to know about my days…

After Christmas, I decided to spend a little holiday until the fifth of January with three of my children and grandchildren. Nothing special to tell you, but very special to me!

So, I think I will leave you alone until 2013…

I will miss you a lot… I will have a great desire to speak to you and to tell you about my days. Your presence in my life has become addictive. I shall be waiting for your comments, hoping that there will be new friends every day.

172. Potrete Vivere Senza di Me?

Sono entrato nell’atmosfera natalizia! Trascorro diverse ore vagando fra le vetrine dei negozi di Firenze. Non ho le idee chiare su cosa far trovare sotto l’albero ai miei figli e amici… non è facile!

Ho qualche meeting, niente d’interessante da sottoporre alla vostra voglia di conoscere le mie giornate…

Dopo Natale, ho deciso di trascorrere un po’ di vacanze fino al 5 gennaio con tre dei miei figli e nipotini. Niente di speciale da raccontarvi, ma molto speciale per me!

Quindi, penso che vi lascerò soli fino al 2013…

Sentirò tantissimo la vostra mancanza. Avrò tanta voglia di parlarvi e raccontarvi. La vostra presenza nella mia vita è diventata una droga. Aspetto i vostri commenti e spero che ogni giorno ci saranno nuovi amici.

I returned back to Italy last night, my plane did not land in Milan as expected. The only city in northern Italy without fog was Turin and so we landed there.

When I finally got to hug my pillow and experienced the warm tongue of Lupo who couldn’t stop kissing me, I relaxed.
It’s nice to come home…

Upon entering the house I turn on the lights of the Christmas tree I had set up before leaving… beautiful, a hundred colored balls finally make me realize that I have to stop running away, to stop fretting between problems!

In a few days it is Christmas! I have to start thinking about all the gifts for my grandchildren, for my children and for the many people I love! I shall start focusing more on myself, on my life and my peace of mind.

Roberto Cavalli Blog Thinking about the children’s gifts before leaving for India I had a brilliant idea. I bought Maria Eva and Esther, a pair of young gray budgies with a red plume on their heads. They were reared from birth and fed with an eyedropper to train them not to peck. I think my two lovely grandchildren will have a great time holding them without being pecked!

For Gabriele, my only grandson, I bought a great little car… I hope he can reach the pedals. The car can also be remotely controlled by his father Francesco!

Dolls of all types and sizes for the other grandchildren! I cannot wait to see their eyes when they open the presents on Christmas eve after the traditional dinner with all the children and all the grandchildren and some friends, the real ones, the ones that I have always loved and who have always loved me!

Gifts for big kids, I refer to my children, who for me are always children – that will be more complicated… I tried to investigate to discover the direction of their desires, but it is not easy.

When my mom asked me what I wanted for Christmas, I made a list of ten pages. Today, we have everything and too much of everything. Christmas is no longer expected with the same frenzy as when I was a kid! I often tell my children “I WAS YOUNG TOO… IT SEEMS IMPOSSIBLE, BUT IT IS TRUE! IF I GOT OLD AND I HAVE WHITE HAIR IT IS NOT MY FAULT…”

Roberto Cavalli 171. Aspettando Babbo Natale…

Sono rientrato ieri notte in Italia, il mio aereo non è atterrato a Milano come previsto, l’unica città senza nebbia del nord Italia era Torino.

Quando finalmente ho potuto riabbracciare i miei cuscini, risentire il calore della lingua di Lupo che non finiva più di baciarmi, mi sono rilassato.

È bello ritornare a casa…

Appena entrato in casa ho acceso le lucine dell’albero di Natale, che avevo fatto prima di partire, bellissimo, le cento palline colorate mi hanno finalmente fatto capire che devo smettere di correre, di logorarmi fra i problemi!

Fra pochi giorni è Natale! Devo incominciare a pensare a tutti i regalini per i miei nipotini, per i mie figli e per le tante persone che amo! Devo incominciare a pensare a me stesso, volermi bene e far riposare la mia mente!

Roberto Cavalli Blog Per i bambini, ho avuto la brillante idea di pensarci prima di partire per l’India. Ho comprato a Maria Eva e a Ester, una coppia di giovani pappagallini grigi, con un pennacchio rosso sulla testa. Sono stati allevati fin dalla nascita con il contagocce per abituarli ad essere buoni. Credo che i miei due amori si divertiranno a tenerli in mano senza essere beccate!

A Gabriele, il mio unico maschietto, ho comprato una macchinina fantastica… spero arrivi ai pedali, ma può essere telecomandata dal babbo Francesco!

Bambole di ogni tipo e dimensione per le altre nipotine! Non vedo l’ora di vedere i loro occhi quando apriranno i pacchi il 24 sera dopo la tradizionale cena con tutti i figli e tutti i nipotini ed alcuni amici, quelli veri, quelli che mi hanno sempre voluto bene!

Per i regali dei bambini grandi, mi riferisco ai miei figli, che per me sono sempre bambini, o al massimo, ragazzi, sarà più complicato… ho cercato di indagare per scoprire la direzione dei loro desideri, ma non è facile.

Quando la mia mamma mi chiedeva cosa desideravo a Natale le facevo una lista di dieci pagine. Oggi, abbiamo tutto e troppo di tutto e quindi il Natale non è più atteso con la stessa frenesia di quando ero ragazzo!

Spesso dico ai miei figli “SONO STATO GIOVANE ANCHE IO… VI SEMBRA IMPOSSIBILE, MA È VERO! SE SONO INVECCHIATO E HO I CAPELLI BIANCHI NON È COLPA MIA…”
