The three-piece suits – jacket-trousers-waistcoats – based on a formal appearance while constructing a contemporary shape and respecting the male body’s architecture. The jacket hugs the shoulders and bust with broad lapels. Straight trousers follow the contours of the thighs, widening slightly at the hem. The waistcoat protects the chest. The colours, decidedly masculine but not traditional, range from camel to rust, grey to petroleum blue. All are hues that convey respectability, concreteness and authoritativeness.

The jeans, re-use classic styles and American manufacture, even when they are printed with images of old leather inlays. They are teamed with shirts in silk jacquard, printed jersey and soft flannel, or with thick wool cardigans in stitches that copy the scales on reptiles. The scarves and foulards have the task of highlighting the big impact of colour.

A man who always pushes aside macho roughness in order to rediscover his masculine side. A man who offers himself to a woman as a pure bearer of strong passions that deliver and show respect.

Abiti tre pezzi, giacca-pantaloni-gilet, che pretendono la formalità dell’aspetto pur costruendo una figura contemporanea, nel rispetto di quell’architettura del corpo maschile. La giacca ha le spalle accostate, il busto aderente, i revers allargati; i pantaloni diritti disegnano la coscia e scendono leggermente allargandosi sul fondo; il gilet protegge il busto. I colori, nettamente maschili ma non tradizionali, vanno dal cammello al ruggine, dal grigio al blu petrolio. Sempre e comunque tinte che emanano rispettabilità, concretezza, autorevolezza.

I jeans, in un’operazione di controtendenza, riusano i classici tagli e fatture americani, anche quando sono stampati con immagini di vecchi intarsi di pelle, e sono abbinati a camicie di seta jacquard, di jersey stampato e di flanella morbida, o abbinati a cardigan di lana grossa con una lavorazione che replica le scaglie dei rettili. Alle sciarpe ed ai foulards viene affidato il compito di sottolineare la forza dirompente del colore.

Un uomo che spazza via per sempre le rudezze del machismo e si riscopre maschio. Un uomo che si porge alla donna come un portatore sano di passioni forti capaci di porgere e di pretendere rispetto.
