104. BONIFACIO: WE HAVE A BIG PROBLEM ON BOARD!

Rosa is in heat, more, is at the end of the heat, in those 4 or 5 special days. This is driving Lupo completely crazy! We are forced to keep Rosa locked in the small cabin. Lupo weighs 121 pounds and Rosa 4 pounds. The risk is huge! Lupo is very sad and is so excited that he has not eaten since we left!

We are having dinner at “LE CARAVELLE”, a restaurant famous for its excellent seafood dishes. I am a friend of the owner who comes to greet us. He is happy to see me again. He introduces me to Karina, his wife, and her daughter. She is holding a delightful Yorkshire the same age as Rosa… “IS HE A MALE…?” I first ask them “Yes… HE IS THREE YEARS OLD”. Shit… this is fate! I ask if she is willing to let her dog engage with mine. Rosa is a well-bred dog of a good family! We contract the date of the marriage and we decide upon an… MATRIMONIO IMMEDIATO [INSTANT WEDDING] !

I ran to the boat to get Rosa and we introduce her to Shane. At the beginning Rosa is very intimidated by Shane’s impetuousness. His special attentions soon soften the situation.

We have created a sort of alcove on a soft couch and from that moment a movie of connubial bliss begins! We enjoy ourselves to following the course of the film, which alternated romantic moments and intimate moments! Given the inexperience of the two actors we decided to let them continue indefinitely throughout the night. They need to know each other without an audience! We feel like parents, waiting for our young lady to lose her virginity! It is a fun experience – only those who have dogs they love can understand these emotions!

The next morning we look forward to seeing Rosa, knowing whether or not the marriage was “consummated”.

Karina is waiting with Rosa in her arms, “FULL LOVE…!” “they couldn’t stop… after following their natural instincts they continued all night…!” In fact, Rosa seems a bit tired!

We toast them with a double espresso and look forward to the patter of tiny paws. Maybe… I’ll become a Grandpa!

104. BONIFACIO: ABBIAMO UN GRANDE PROBLEMA A BORDO!

Rosa è in calore, di più, è a fine calore, proprio in quei 4 o 5 giorni più particolari. Lupo è completamente impazzito! Siamo costretti a tenere Rosa chiusa nella piccola cabina. Lupo pesa cinquantacinque chili e Rosa due chili. Il rischio è grosso! Lupo è molto triste ed è talmente eccitato che non mangia da quando siamo partiti!

Siamo a cena a “LE CARAVELLE”, un ristorante famoso per gli ottimi piatti a base di pesce. Sono amico del proprietario che mi è venuto incontro, felice di rivedermi. Mi ha presentato Karina, sua moglie, e sua figlia che teneva in braccio un delizioso Yorkshire con la stessa età di Rosa… “È UN MASCHIO…?” chiedo subito, “SI… HA TRE ANNI”. Caspita… il destino! Le chiedo se è disposta a farlo fidanzare con la mia “bimba”. Rosa è una canina illibata di buona famiglia! Abbiamo contrattato sulla data del matrimonio e abbiamo deciso… MATRIMONIO IMMEDIATO!

Sono corso in barca a prendere Rosa e abbiamo fatto le presentazioni ufficiali! All’inizio Rosa era molto intimidita dall’irruenza di Shane, il futuro sposo. Le speciali attenzioni del maschietto hanno poi addolcito tutta la situazione.

Abbiamo creato una specie di alcova su un morbido divano e da quel momento è incominciato il film sulla loro felicità coniugale! Ci siamo divertiti a seguire lo svolgimento del film che alternava momenti romantici a momenti di intimità! Vista l’inesperienza dei due attori abbiamo deciso di farli continuare a oltranza per tutta la notte. Hanno bisogno di conoscersi senza spettatori! Ci sembrava di essere genitori in attesa che la nostra “bimba” perdesse la sua verginità! È stata una divertente esperienza, solo chi ha un cane e lo ama può capire queste emozioni!

La mattina seguente siamo impazienti di rivedere Rosa e capire se il matrimonio si è “consumato”.

Karina ci stava aspettando con Rosa in braccio “AMORE COMPLETO…!” non finivano più… hanno seguito il loro istinto e hanno continuato per tutta la notte…! In effetti, Rosa sembra un po’ stanca!

Brindiamo con un doppio espresso e restiamo in attesa del risultato. Forse… diventerò nonno!
