My love affair with Florence does not let me stay away from her for a long time…

In each of my trips I start to feel the nostalgia of Florence within just a few hours… it’s hard to explain but when I’m on my trips around the world I know that Florence is always there and she is waiting for me… as a mother is waiting for her son who is away on a trip, she knows that sooner or later he will return home…

That reassures me. Sometimes I feel like a sailor at the mercy of the waves, but, I know that my safe harbour is there, waiting for me…

La mia relazione d’amore con Firenze non mi permette di starle lontano per molto tempo…

In ognuno dei miei viaggi inizio a sentire la nostalgia di Firenze già dopo poche ore… è difficile da spiegare ma quando mi trovo in giro per il mondo so che Firenze è sempre lì che mi aspetta… come la madre che aspetta il proprio figlio partito per un viaggio, lei sa che prima o poi ritornerà…

Questo mi rassicura, a volte mi sento un po’ come un marinaio in balia delle onde, ma, so che il mio porto sicuro è li che mi aspetta…

La mia Firenze, testimone di amori, guerre e movimenti di pensiero che hanno cambiato il mondo…

Questa è la mia dichiarazione d’amore per una delle più belle città del mondo…
