I never imagined being able to travel by train with Lupo. By chance I heard of this new openness, on the part of the Italian Railways, which allows us to travel in the company of our four-legged friends.

A good initiative for we who love animals and cannot do without their company, or, having to travel, do not know where to leave them.

I am comfortably sitting in first class and Lupo is lying under my seat. How I would like to take a picture, but I’m afraid I cannot.

It was not easy to make him understand what a muzzle is and explain to him that some other dogs are not so friendly and so to avoid problems, dear Lupo, you have to keep this strange contraption on your mouth!

He receives many compliments… the muzzle is quite unnecessary. Many want to stroke him… he clearly looks a friendly dog!

I was away from Florence for a long time. After my surgery I had to rest and try not to think too much… but that is impossible just ten days away from the fashion shows!

I spend most of my time on the computer organising via e-mail all those problems that I can solve. There are so many… I cannot rest my mind!

Lupo is asleep, the roll and rhythm of the train is facilitating his sleep!

184. In Treno con Lupo…

Non avrei mai immaginato di poter viaggiare in treno con Lupo. Per puro caso ho saputo di questa nuova apertura da parte delle Ferrovie dello Stato che ci permette di viaggiare in compagnia dei nostri amici a quattro zampe.

Una bella iniziativa per noi che amiamo gli animali e non possiamo fare a meno della loro compagnia, o dovendo viaggiare, non sappiamo dove lasciarli.

Sono tranquillamente seduto in prima classe e Lupo è sdraiato sotto il mio seggiolino. Quanto vorrei fare una foto, ma temo che mi sia impossibile.

Non è stato facile fargli capire cosa è una museruola e spiegargli che qualche suo simile non è molto gentile e quindi per evitare problemi, caro Lupo, devi tenere questo strano marchingegno sulla bocca!

Riceve tanti complimenti e la museruola è proprio inutile, molti lo vogliono accarezzare, significa che ha un aspetto da cane buono!

Manco da Firenze da molto tempo. Dopo la mia operazione ho dovuto riposarmi e cercare di non pensare troppo… impossibile a soli dieci giorni dalle sfilate!

Trascorro la maggior parte del mio tempo davanti al computer a organizzare via email tutti quei problemi che solo io posso risolvere, sono troppi… non riesco a far riposare la mia mente!

Lupo sta dormendo, il rullio e il rumore del treno lo aiutano nel suo sonno profondo!

Un bacio grande a tutti e… una leccatina anche da Lupo!
