132. I Think of a Long September…

My head begins to think again about the duties and problems that are waiting for me upon my return…

I’ll be at the factory on Wednesday. My first encounter will be with the collection of JUST CAVALLI. Before the holidays I had given so many ideas that were to be realized, I am curious and anxious, I do not have much time to make big changes…

– Tuesday, 4 September, I will be leaving for New York.

– Two days later, the President of Panama will send his own plane to pick me up. His son will open a boutique ROBERTIO CAVALLI and want me to be present at the inauguration.

– The next day I shall be in Los Angeles. My boutique on Rodeo Drive is organizing a mega dinner with the best customers for the arrival of the new collection. I cannot miss it!

– It is not over here, I got an offer to open a CAVALLI CLUB in Las Vegas and it seems a very interesting idea. I need to check if the space they offered is suitable for the project.

– Two days in Las Vegas and start again, to Madrid! On September 14 I will inaugurate my first boutique in Spain! With this investment I am proud to celebrate my confidence in the future of Spain and its fine people.

I will be back in Florence on September 15, Lupo will assail me with his exuberant displays of affection and I’ll have to dive immediately into the atmosphere of the fashion shows! On September 21st for the JUST CAVALLI fashion show and on September 24th for the ROBERTO CAVALLI line.

I have a lot of anxiety for both fashion shows. JUST CAVALLI, the young collection, has suffered recently due to the problems of the ITR, the company from Isernia had the license for the JUST CAVALLI line. For some mysterious and unclear reason the ITR were forced to fail, or rather seek bankruptcy protection, to safeguard the workplace for ITR employees without thinking of the small companies and their employees who worked for ITR and where forced to close. Even my thriving business has suffered enormous damage due to a person supported by someone “important” and typically absurd Italian laws!

I decided to dedicate a lot of time and ideas to JUST CAVALLI and I’m satisfied… The results are already good and I want to return this young brand to the splendors of six years ago!

It will be up to you to let me know if I am the Roberto Cavalli you still esteem!

The collection and Roberto Cavalli fashion show will be completely new. I have created a collection that is modern and sexy for an ageless woman!

Leap years have always been lucky years for me. I was born on Friday, in a leap year and with a shirt! My mom always told me this story, I did not believe it until the birth of my niece Maria Carla. I saw her born… she came to light in a large white envelope, white fat that wrapped around the little body, “the shirt” is a rare case and so lucky!

132. Penso a un Lungo Settembre…

La mia testa rincomincia a pensare ai doveri e ai problemi che mi aspettano al mio rientro…

Sarò in fabbrica mercoledì. Il mio primo incontro sarà con la collezione di JUST CAVALLI. Prima delle vacanze avevo dato tante idee che avrebbero dovuto essere concretizzate, sono curioso e ansioso, non ho molto tempo per poter fare grandi cambiamenti…

– Martedì 4 settembre, sarò in partenza per New York.

– Due giorni dopo il presidente di Panama mi manderà il suo aereo personale a prendermi. Suo figlio apre una boutique ROBERTIO CAVALLI e desidera la mia presenza per l’inaugurazione.

– Il giorno successivo riparto con destinazione Los Angeles, la mia boutique di Rodeo Drive organizza una mega cena con le migliori clienti per l’arrivo della nuova collezione, non posso mancare!

– Non è finita qui, mi hanno offerto di aprire un CAVALLI CLUB a Las Vegas e mi sembra una idea molto interessante, devo andare a verificare se il locale che mi hanno offerto è adeguato al progetto.

– Due giorni a Las Vegas e si riparte, destinazione Madrid! Il 14 settembre inaugurerò la mia prima boutique in Spagna! M’imbarazza “festeggiare” in un paese così logorato da tanti problemi.

Rientrerò a Firenze il 15 settembre, Lupo mi assalirà con le sue esuberanti dimostrazioni di affetto e dovrò tuffarmi immediatamente nell’atmosfera delle sfilate! Il 21 settembre JUST CAVALLI e il 24 ROBERTO CAVALLI.

Ho molta ansia per entrambe le sfilate JUST Cavalli, la collezione giovane, ha sofferto recentemente a causa dei problemi della ITR, la società di Isernia che aveva la licenza il marchio JUST CAVALLI.
Per qualche misteriosa e poco chiara ragione la ITR è stata fatta fallire, o meglio, commissariare, per salvaguardare il posto di lavoro ai dipendenti ITR, senza pensare alle piccole società dell’indotto e ai loro dipendenti che lavoravano per ITR e che hanno chiuso. Anche la mia fiorente azienda ha subito danni enormi a causa di una persona sostenuta da qualcuno “importante” e da leggi assurde, prettamente italiane!

Ho deciso di dedicare molto tempo e nuove idee a JUST CAVALLI e sono soddisfatto del lavoro… I risultati sono buoni ma non mi accontento, desidero riportare questo giovane marchio agli splendori di sei anni fa!

La collezione e la sfilata Roberto Cavalli sarà decisamente nuova, ho creato una collezione moderna e sexy per una donna senza età!

Gli anni bisestili sono sempre stati per me anni fortunati. Sono nato di venerdì in un anno bisestile e… con la camicia! La mia mamma mi ha sempre raccontato questa storiella, non ci credevo fino alla nascita della mia nipotina Maria Carla. L’ho vista nascere… è venuta alla luce in un grande involucro bianco, un grasso bianco che le avvolgeva tutto il corpicino, “la famosa camicia” è un caso raro e quindi fortunato!
