Bat-Zodiac 121. August First 2012…

August First 2012, as always I am in the helicopter but this time I am not piloting, I’m too tired, I am sitting in the back enjoying the “panorama”. This is a good time to write my new post for the Blog!

Friday we will go to Porto Rotondo, Sardinia, my Freedom (the Bat-zodiac) is waiting for me to begin the long awaited holidays…

The next weekend I want to go to Cavallo Island… Rachele has rented a nice apartment right on the beach and I want to spend some time swimming with my three granddaughters!

Then, if the sea conditions are right, I shall head south from Cavallo Island towards Sardinia and then westwards to the Balearic Islands. The first stop will be Mallorca and then Ibiza!

IT WILL BE A LONG JOURNEY… AN ODYSSEY… A NEW ADVENTURE! Many friends are waiting for me and I cannot disappoint them…

I started this post talking about August first… How many wonderful childhood memories… my mother used to rent a small house for the entire month and I always waited anxiously for August to come…
I remember when I learned to swim at Bocca di Magra… I think I was 6 years old… the first dance on a terrace turned into a nightclub… in Lerici near La Spezia…

The first kiss… during a slow dance with the melodic music of Peppino di Capri in the background… I dreamed that those days would never end… returning to Florence meant returning to school… I hated school… it meant another winter… it meant having to wait 11 long months until next August 1st!

I’m writing on my Nokia Communicator, my vintage phone. For me this is a unique device! I do not understand why Nokia has never made a new version. One day I will tell you of the special advantages of the Nokia 9210 that give it such a special appeal to this day.

Lupo is next to me… he is restless… he can’t find a comfortable position… he certainly understands that in a few minutes he will see his “small” girl friend, Rosa, again.

121. Primo Agosto 2012…

Primo Agosto 2012, come sempre sono in elicottero, non sto pilotando, sono troppo stanco, sono comodamente seduto dietro e mi sto godendo il panorama. Momento ideale per scrivere un nuovo articolo per il Blog…!

Venerdì andiamo a Porto Rotondo, in Sardegna, il mio Freedom (il Bat-Gommone) mi sta aspettando per iniziare le tanto attese vacanze…

Il prossimo week end voglio andare all’isola di Cavallo, Rachele ha preso in affitto un bell’appartamento sulla spiaggia e desidero passare un po’ di tempo a nuotare con le mie tre nipotine!

Dopo, se le condizioni del mare lo permettono, desidero scendere a metà Sardegna e puntare a ovest verso le isole Baleari. La prima tappa sarà Maiorca e poi Ibiza!

SARÀ UN LUNGO VIAGGIO… UN ODISSEA… UNA NUOVA AVVENTURA! Molti amici mi stanno aspettando e non li posso deludere…

Vi racconterò le mie avventure e sarete con me tutta l’estate.

Ho iniziato questo post parlando del primo di agosto… Quanti meravigliosi ricordi della mia infanzia… la mamma prendeva una piccola casa in affitto per tutto il mese e io aspettavo agosto con ansia… mi ricordo quando imparai a nuotare a Bocca di Magra… avevo circa sei anni… i primi balli in una terrazza trasformata in discoteca… a Lerici vicino a La Spezia…

Il primo bacio… durante un ballo lento con in sottofondo la musica di Peppino di Capri… sognavo che quei momenti non finissero mai… il rientro a Firenze significava il ritorno a scuola… che odiavo… significava l’attesa dell’inverno… significava aspettare undici lunghi mesi per il prossimo primo di Agosto!

Sto scrivendo questo post sul mio Nokia Comunicator, il mio telefono vintage, per me è uno smartphone unico! Non capisco perché la Nokia non ha prodotto una nuova versione di questo telefono. Uno di questi giorni vi illustrerò le caratteristiche speciali del mio Nokia 9210.

Lupo è accanto a me… è molto agitato, non riesce a trovare la posizione giusta… ha sicuramente capito che fra pochi minuti rivedrà la sua “piccola” fidanzata Rosa.

I’m in my helicopter… the sea is 500 meters below me… I see the ripples of the waves… much wind… it is not easy to keep the helicopter straight…

I’m piloting but my mind is still in Saint Tropez… I am leaving the boat… my crew is waving at me until my car is out of sight…

It is beautiful and we have fun together. I like to bring a smile to those who work for me as well as to myself!

The Mega-Yacht

Yesterday afternoon the great… fantastic… Jedward twins came to say a final farewell. The feelings with the twins John and Edward develop quickly, with the promise to meet again soon… I’m delighted they have asked to design a special outfit for them…
They seem from another planet but their feelings are very well grounded!

After an enjoyable dinner at the “Brasserie Des Art” after we go to “Les Caves du Roy”, the most “IN” disco on the Cote d’Azur… I cannot leave without greeting and being greeted by the most beautiful people on the Cote d’Azur…

The DJ is a dear friend… when he sees me he yells out my name a hundred times to engage me… drawing me into the huge crowd of people who are dancing… The room is totally dark… the only lights are the colored lights that change color and position every few seconds!

I’ve never seen so many people … I do not think that it would be allowed in Italy… almost everybody is smoking… I am besieged… caught up in the crowd…

My friends did not come in with me preferring to stay outside… we get together onboard for a nightcap!

120. Saint Tropez, Una Settimana Divertente… Spensierata… Trascorsa Troppo Velocemente!

Sono in elicottero… il mare è a 500 metri sotto di me… vedo le increspature delle onde… c’è molto vento… non è facile mantenere dritto l’elicottero…

Sto pilotando ma la mia mente è ancora a Saint Tropez… ho lasciato la barca… il mio equipaggio che agitava le braccia per salutarmi mentre la mia auto scompare all’orizzonte…

È bello e ci divertiamo tutti insieme. Mi piace far sorridere chi opera per me, accanto a me!

Ieri pomeriggio sono tornati a trovarmi per salutarmi i mie grandi… fantastici… simpatici amici JEDWARD. I gemelli John e Edward, ci unisce un feeling nato velocemente, con la promessa di rivederci presto… Mi fa piacere che mi abbiano chiesto di creare qualche vestito speciale per loro…
Sembrano di un altro pianeta ma i loro sentimenti sono molto terreni!

Dopo una bella cena alla Brasserie Des Art siamo andati alla “Les Cave du Roy” la discoteca più “IN” della costa Azzurra, non potevo partire senza farmi salutare e acclamare dalle persone più belle della Costa Azzurra…

Il DJ è un caro amico da sempre e quando mi ha visto ha urlato il mio nome cento volte per coinvolgermi alla grande… enorme ressa di gente che ballava… Il locale è totalmente buio… le uniche luci sono i riflettori colorati che cambiano posizione e colore ogni pochi secondi!

Non ho mai visto così tanta gente… non credo che in Italia sarebbe permesso… quasi tutti fumavano… mentre mi trovavo assediato… intrappolato fra la gente…

I miei amici non sono entrati e hanno preferito restare fuori… ci siamo ritrovati in barca per l’ultimo drink!

I begin to appreciate my big boat, maybe I enjoy it while I am in Saint Tropez! Sometimes the film moves onboard!

I am often forced to hide in the cabin… “I AM SLEEPING, I AM NOT AVAILABLE…!” Many people pretend to know me… “we met at a dinner four years ago” they say… Crazy!

As soon as I step off the boat I am asked to pose in a lot of pictures with people… lots of smiles! I am friends with everyone and have a nice word for everyone, answer any questions many of which are cute and interesting!

All the people who pass in front of the boat just want to see the big boats up close… the mega cars… all are looking for the stars they see in the papers!

Last night after dinner, people were convinced that Rihanna was a guest on the Cavalli boat. Keila, Beppe Ronco’s partner, is a beautiful and sexy Cuban girl with hair like Rihanna…

The curious began to stop, first ten, then fifty… hard to tell… more than a thousand people screaming to see Rihanna… We had organized the bluff in an exceptional manner. The boat nearby had it all figured out and had fun along with us… loud music and laughter until late in the evening… until the exhaustion of a sunny day made us fall on our beds!

This morning we had a visit … Tara Reid, do you remember her, sexy and full of life, in “American Pie”? She recognized my boat and came up to greet me… I was happy to see her that morning and enjoyed our conversation…

Tara arrived with a couple of ~~English~~ Irish friends… indescribable! The Jedward twins… very popular among the young… vertical blond-hair, supported by a kilo of hairspray, forming a ridge more than 20 cm. high. Cherry red jackets and blue shorts. Very nice!

They performed a live ballet for me… dancing and singing their song… only to be interrupted by Lupo, who did not fully appreciate their act… his reaction made us all laugh… I had to restrain him, he was barking and wanted to bite them! It is the first time I have seen Lupo aggressive…

Now I have to go… I want to go swimming, the sea is calling me…
I have to clear my mind… refresh my ideas!

119. Sono a Saint Tropez… Vorrei Che Questo Film Non Finisse Mai… È Troppo Divertente…

Incomincio ad apprezzare la mia grande barca, forse, mi diverte solo quando sono a Saint Tropez! Talvolta il film si sposta a bordo!

Sono spesso costretto a nascondermi in cabina “STO DORMENDO, NON CI SONO…!” Molte persone fanno finta di conoscermi… si presentano dicendo “ci siamo visti ad una cena quattro anni fa”… Pazzesco!

Appena scendo dalla barca la gente mi chiede di posare con loro per una foto… tanti sorrisi! Sono amico di tutti e ho una parola carina per tutti, rispondo a ogni domanda, spesso sono carine e interessanti!

Tutte le persone che passano davanti desiderano vedere da vicino le grandi barche… le mega auto… tutti sono alla ricerca delle star che vedono sui giornali!

Ieri sera dopo cena ci siamo divertiti a far credere Rihanna era ospite di Cavalli… impersonata da Keila, la compagna di Beppe Ronco, è una bellissima e sexy ragazza cubana con i capelli simili a quelli di Rihanna…

I curiosi incominciavano a fermarsi, prima dieci poi cinquanta poi cento… difficile stabilire il numero esatto, più di mille persone che urlavano per vedere Rihanna… Abbiamo organizzato il bluff in maniera eccezionale. Le barche vicine avevano capito tutto e stavano al gioco divertendosi con noi…

Abbiamo continuato a ridere con la musica altissima fino a tardi… fino a quando la stanchezza di una giornata piena di sole ci ha fatto crollare sui letti!

Questa mattina abbiamo avuto una visita… Tara Reid, ve la ricordate quella ragazza sexy e piena di vita di “American Pie”? Ha riconosciuto la mia barca ed è salita a salutarmi… Sono stato felice di vederla e scambiare con lei quattro chiacchiere…

Tara era in compagnia di una coppia di amici ~~inglesi~~ Irlandesi… Indescrivibili! Due gemelli molto famosi fra i giovani, I Jedward. Biondissimi con i capelli sostenuti da un kilo di lacca che forma una cresta di oltre venti centimetri. Giacca rosso ciliegia e shorts celesti. Simpaticissimi!

Si sono esibiti dal vivo per me cantando e ballando una loro canzone… sono stati interrotti da Lupo, che non li gradiva… la sua reazione ci ha divertito… ho dovuto trattenerlo, abbaiava e voleva morderli! È la prima volta che ho visto Lupo aggressivo…

Vi lascio… voglio andare a fare una nuotata, l’acqua mi aspetta… devo rinfrescarmi le idee!
